H1 Status Update

Those who went long around 1.1218/28 zone (as stated yesterday) should wait for a breakout from RED TL.. Stops should be a little below 1.1218 for now..

The way I see current pattern are like diamond pattern.
Huge breakout is possible with some retracement to 1.0x area.
I will keep buying until it happens with small lots size and huge SL.

Is this forum also intended for discussing economic content or mostly chart patterns?

Because I am puzzled a bit that the euro does not react to the great numbers we just saw with German retail sales beating expectations. Is this market reaction intuitive for anyone?

Volatility is an important factor and combining it with Fibo gives great results.
July months volatility is 252 pips (+ -)
any trader who is great in Trend direction can add more in this to get great results.

This just underlines my (personal) impression, that algorithms are stronger than news ;-)
So often we encounter news and the pair is doing the opposite of what it should do according to expectation.
Or just spikes around only to come back to "normal" later again.

Although on H4 i should be selling.

On daily It is screaming for a burst to the upside

M5 I have entered pending buys at around 12100. If I'm wrong on the buys I am sure I will at least get a good bounce and be able to exit at BE.

Many of you are looking to go up based on Daily and fundamentals.

My take, from yesterday, is that we need to break some TA levels on the downside before. This in order to create volumes for the big guys to position themselves long.

Yesterday a breakout of the support line of the pennant visible on the hourly triggered that important up move. Now we are dealing again with the same support. Once broken, there are 50-100 PIPs to make on the downside. This is when the guys with volumes will be buying. Then, it's up for a few hundred PIPs over the following days-weeks.

Now it's selling against those impatient for an up swing, to shake them down.
I expect a down break, followed by a spike reversal.

H1 Status Update

Good old Gartley and AB=CD level 1.1245 stroke back finally and intraday trend switched back to bearish again! I will keep doing my classic rinse and repeat of selling new touches to Dashed-BLUE TL..

*Always expect choppy priceaction these days: For example now there might be a bullish gartley completing around 1.1203! A touch to 1.1190 would cancel that new potential gartley..
