Disliked{quote} I think it depends on the brokers quality of volume and which data feed they useIgnored
Disliked{quote} +++++++++++++++++++++++ Indeed it does. I'd prefer to use Oanda's MT4 as my guide, however, was not able to download. I'll try again. Also another point; Why are you opposed to 'Hidden' divergence? In anvesh post #202, EJ was showing Hidden Bearish Divergence, at the same as time as bullish divergence shown on the chart.Ignored
DislikedI'll tell you what Wags, I am looking at a 1hr E/U chart right now, and following with interest. My usual methods for judging the direction of the market are all saying short right now.... your OBV setup however is not agreeing. Looking to see how it pans out. It is like you have given us another dimension. Its not a setup in terms of this strategy but I think it might reinforce the power of your approach. I am also noticing that the slope of the 50SMA on OBV is very helpful indeed at assisting spotting a divergence. Apologies if that is a little...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I use 50 MA on OBV slope as crucial element for end of trend, Entering or staying in a trade, i dont think many picked up on this so far. I would say that the TAS strat is slightly in favour of an up move for EU atm, once upmove happens then we look for retrace with divergence and correlation of the other EUR pairs. Please do not apologise, this is all relevant Lets see what happensIgnored
DislikedSaw this set up a few hours ago. OBV was hanging out below MA's, so took advantage of Strong pull back. In this case it worked out. This show 1st TP on my demo. I still have half trade going in live trade, with SL to BE. Been watching Aud for a few months, expecting a major correction. Maybe this is it. Today USD started rising on who knows what. I suspect it has to do with more whitehouse ignorance of threatening more tariffs. Have not yet found a time in history in which tariffs improved anything. (rant) {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I think so. USD started to raise today but who knows why. I noticed this divergence on USDCAD also. Thanks Wags for this cool and simple system. {image}Ignored
