here is something worth reading... it seems that someone from the academic world has finally made similar conclusions to those that I came up with 20+ years ago... https://arxiv.org/pdf/2006.07847.pdf

Dislikedthroughout human history there wasn't s even a single example when angry rebellious mobs of any kind, flooding the streets of any state, had been capable of making some positive changes for the country's economy regardless of its sociopolitical formation or a particular cause of such a civil unrest at the timeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Well, there are numerous history examples involving rebellious mobs|crowds winning and getting a better standard of living What about American Revolution ? Specifically Boston Tea Party episode https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Tea_Party ? It took some time but eventually it worked out, didn't it? Then Czechoslovakia Velvet Revolution 1991 Then Georgia Rose Resolution 2003... Disliked{quote} Ok, so we are talking about "cultural revolutions" where "angry rebellious mobs of any kind, flooding the streets of any state, had been capable of making some positive changes for the country's economy" ? I think it is even easier to find examples of such occurences, albeit I admit they are fewer and far between than those which involved "negative changes for country's economy": - since in the Middle Ages the "culture" mainly meant religion, the XVI-XVII century Reformation gives plenty of examples: whole European countries gained independence...Ignored

DislikedHi Igor, what do you think about the Covid. It is pretty clear that the biological/medical risks that it poses are exaggerated by the interested players by a few orders of magnitude, and the measures they have taken to address this imaginary threat (such as economy shutdowns, forced home arrests of the entire populations of the most of the world's nations, etc.). It is also pretty clear no one wants to end this spectacle any time soon. Now they are planing the second wave (viral infection in the middle of the summer when the sun shines bright!)....Ignored

Disliked{quote} As of 20 June, Sweden has the 7th highest death rate per capita in the world, or, if we exclude Andorra and San Marino, it's 5th highest https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries Also, Spanish death rate despite strictest and one of the longest lockdown in Europe, is 20% higher than Swedish. Disliked{quote} 1. Covid is real. Most likely it appeared from natural sources. It's a deadly virus with relatively high mortality rate especially among those with preexisting conditions. 2. Sweden experience confirms that the quarantine measures actually work in terms of preventing the spread of the virus, as they did almost nothing about it and have gotten the highest mortality rate in the world as a result. 3. Initial reaction of the governments around the world was quite emotional. Politicians got scared of the pandemic. They had to pretend and to demonstrate...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Let's add the US CDC to the list, including fake fauci. Fauci has flip flopped on several things and has zero credibility. He is a know front for the pharmaceutical companies as was easily shown when he celebrated Remdesivir when it did nothing to lower the mortality rate of covid patients in the hospital after for months trashing the malaria drug taken with zinc that keeps people out of the hospital to begin with. Instead, he, and CNN, WHO, UN, CDC, etc, etc continue saying tests of patients taking the malaria drug are not helped by it...they...Ignored
