my expectation is that every trade goes my way within one bar from entry...unreasonable, maybe....

what could my expectation to how far it should go, or how quick it should go in my favor?

did a bunch of scalps this morning, with the usual results...but gleaned some insight

a couple of observations this morning.... 1. The more pairs your following, the higher the chance of overtrading. 2. Non dollar pairs seem more difficult to read, at least for me. 3. Loosing trades have a far greater cost that what I see on my P/L (mood sours/confidence wanes) 4. A marginal set up, is perhaps marginal for a reason.
1. down to 5 pairs today
2. still seems the case, GBPJPY the exception
3. smaller losses easier to stomach
