We all see that everything is possible on this fragile and volatile scenario. This bad virus is always all around, specially in US.

But this is the new cruel world, where there are people, Companies , Sharks , Pharma Multinationals, that are gaining a lot from this situation, while many are suffering, many are infected yet, and many are becoming unemployed and desperate. Then there are the invisible people, that were already desperate before Covid!
I am, we are , only sailors on these dangerous waters, trying to survive every day in this complicated and ever change moods world.

So when they see the glass half full they will go on the upstairs, otherwise they suddenly go in free fall mode, until Trump, US FED, ECB or whatever is, run stop the fires.

The dip from 12900 till 11600 we saw last days has a mid point at 12250, with usual erratic moves around key levels. Then friday expiration will complicated as usual the scenario. In the end it depends at which price they wish to have the expiration, at least for next 3 days....imho

OK, time for my family now.
Done my day:+390+95=TOTAL +485 pips DAX CFDs.

EU Session
1 x Sell (Loss -70p)
US session
1 x Buy (Win +40)
1 x Short (Closing hour, holding over night)

Upsetting start to the day during EU session, held onto a losing positions.
Did't cut the trade when I could and removed SL. Cost me 2X original risk!
Also missed a perfect setup just before the end of my EU trading period, could have gains +110 pips from that. Away from desk.

Managed to recover a proportion of my loss during the EU/US cross session.
What a short opportunity if anyone knew the DAX was going to crash over +250p.

Decided too short the consolidation leading into the closing hour, looks like positions are being filled for shorts.
I'm guessing that Asian session might dump this due to COVID outbreaks in Beijing.
EU wont be far behind if 2nd waves of the virus are on the rise globally.
Might spook the start of tomorrow's EU session, short term selloff over the next few days (As we saw during March)

Economies are slowing picking up, last thing countries want to do are close the boarders again. It should be done, but the welfare of humans isn't worth the current debt and implications of doing so. so my views is that we will be too late before measure are in place.

You would think the first outbreak taught us?

Financial markets are often disconnected by real world. So better focus on price action, or price levels if you wish to survive on trading for years, for decades, imho.
Then, financial news are driven, amplified by usual suspects and in principle me, you, we traders, shouldn't even hear, read anything excluded the chart in front of us.
But we are humans, so we can't go on without infos every minute, every day, specially on the Internet world.......

Only DAX CFD, because FDXM June will be automatically close next hours by all Brokers, while FDXM SEPT have low volumes and high spread until friday, as usual.
I'm working with my son whole morning but I will place my few small orders as indicated by the chart here below.

I hold my DAX CFD yet from 12220 and target 12450 (+230) but I prefer to place a stop profit now at 12370 in any case (+150).

13:15 CET chart update: typical rollover move during the morning from one side to another for roughly 1% price range.
A potential break out 430 zone will easily lead to 470/510 zone. While 300 zone break down will lead at least to 210/170 zone retest.
