Well I thought this pair was actually going to open quite a bit higher than where it closed Friday........I'm wrong. Interesting next 72 hours the EUR/USD is going to be..

Euro will be long on the long run.
Maybe a little setback. But maybe that was it already.

The Fundies are going to determine where this thing heads....Euro zone has big announcements this week that might be bullish yet if the dollar index progresses that could hamper any significant move up.

Stronger dollar across the periphery. The retracments are not very tight. Price leaving is very quickly. Waiting to see how the london weighs in.

EU might head to 1.1290 today for bulls profit taking & a good short from there toward 1.1190 first.
A close above 1.1290 is needed to revive uptrend.
My technical analysis leading trades depend on Daily/Weekly/Monthly Chart

H4 Status Update

I still prefer selling! Especially while:

  1. H4 candles are opening below 1.1282! There is not even a breach above 1.1264 yet!
  2. To switch to buying, first I need to see a candle close above the black trendline on chart and then a dip into yellow area (which I call the bird's nest)...

Just switched brokers.
My broker had a fix spread of 2 full pips, which seems to be quite high.

What kind of spread for EURUSD is to be considered (normal/)fair?

I am long @1.12472
TP for 1/4 @1.12592 ------------> 12:12 hit
TP for 2/4 @1.12785
TP for 1/4 open
SL @1.12412 -------------------> 13:04 hit

IMHO, for trading the EURUSD, total cost (commission + spread) of each trade should not exceed roughly "1.2 pips".. Brokers who charge equal to that can be considered as fair! But the lower the better for sure!

New broker atm it is between 0.6 and 0.8 Pips spread, no commission.
Is that too low?
Must that be a red flag?
