My writing, which was one of those other professions for a while, staked me originally, so I didn't have to sell those nice things I had worked for to get started on my own.
That's it.
Why do I hang out here? Because I f****** like it, that's why. Trading is a lonely sod of a business and tbh, being able to drop in here and The Other Galaxy keeps my brain from melting out my ears some days.
God knows, other aspects of my life - and no doubt others' lives here - are less than perfect...but one thing I can do and do extremely well, is trade. This is fun. If we can pass on even a little bit to others who find us that will help them too get farther along their journey to financial independence, then all the better - and I know many who we have helped who I still count as friends, from all around the globe.
I do tell you now, however, that reading the sneering implications of your post there, is rapidly ticking me off. Nobody here owes anyone any proof of sod-all.
I think you'll be waiting a good while yet before anyone here takes you up on your offer of a beer.
