You're basically running a Buy Zone trade, though from a specific candle and not the midnight one - both variants are valid.

Running it off the Midnight DAX is money in the bank and the closest to set-and-forget I'll ever get to. I don't post it any more, either here or in The Other Galaxy, as it's just too boring. "Day 100: Profit hit" ...yawn...

I have done the ,most outrageous retrace trade on Cable, OFF the 08-00 2 hour bar. lol.

obviously first 2 bars make the 00-00 4 hour range.
I have adjusted the Black adr area lines.
Daily range made so far is 63

Last week we had 5 winners in a row. And some of them were a lot more than 5-10 pips a go. Some days you will see it break and it never returns, so you get loads of pips. You are definitely right that if it fails more than twice, walk away that day. It is also good to see you are putting your money where your mouth is and actually trading the method.

Here's another tip - try splitting your risk between 2 pairs. Perhaps GU and GJ. Although they move in similar ways, there can sometimes be slight differences. And if 1 loses, sometimes the other 1 wins on the same day (same method - 8-8:15 am bar break). Take today for example. Whilst some people had a fail on the low break on GU, GJ only broke high, and for more than 10. Suddenly your loss is breakeven (loss on GU compensated by win on GJ). I am not saying double your risk. But instead of risking 100 on one pair, put 50 on 1, and 50 on another. Yes, some days you will get a breakeven result where you would have had a winner if you just focused on one pair, but I can assure you, you will not get as many losses either.

AU 4am-8am bar break was also successful today.

I've gone back to using C Trader where I can adjust the time on the X -axis to match up with the UK. I thought I had it sorted until I remembered BST!
And I lived there for 10 years!

I've got my head round it now! the 04-00 bar starts at 11-00 for me (7 hours in front) When I'm calculating Daily Pivots do I use the OHLC of the UK Daily bar?

Yep very naughty ! I have adr at 95 on 5 day but that includes Sunday. Doesn't matter too much.
