You don't need to set the magic number to the same but you can. The manage profit EA can be used but it's completely optional to use.

The manage profit EA allows all pairs to close out at a total of 30 pips profit. So the manage EA can be helpful when we have trades in on multiple pairs. We will take a bit less profit using this optional EA but in most cases, it will lower your potential risk and exposure.

Currently, I'm not using the mange profit EA it on my accounts.

Is there anyone run into same problem like mine?
The old one runs perfectly. It always close all trades .

The new one only close AUDCAD & GBPCAD and leave NZDCAD orders remains open. I test on 3 accounts and they all have same problem.
Is that normal?

Thought I'd chime in here... Yes, we're in a little bit of DD. DD happens in all trading so get used to it. My live account is in a DD of just -1% right now using default settings. Others may be experiencing a little bit more.

High DD? If you want less DD, turn the risk down. Come on people... The EA is still VERY profitable even turning the risk factor down to "0.5". Also, the max DD in the past 10+ years on the GBPCAD using a risk factor of 0.5 was -55% which was hit once. The AUDCAD and NZDCAD hit a maximum of -17% DD in the past 10+ years using the current default settings.

your 3 EA costs 1000$ and the DD is each day even biger.

The Ranger EA has been going for 9 months with only -10% DD and I have people that have been using it for over a year. Some people have been using it on $100k+ REAL accounts. So please... would I really be sticking around if I was out for a quick fix from people?

My Pinpoint EA is still going strong as well.


It's true my RMI EA PRO V4 is struggling right now. We are in some pretty extreme market conditions on the AUDUSD right now. I will continue to support and help those that are in draw-down right now. I'm not in hiding during this time like a scammer would do. As hard as it is... I'm facing everybody face to face about this. The RMI EA PRO has hit DD like this 2 times in the past 10+ years. This will be the 3rd time. I do think it will come out of it but it's hard to see how and when that will happen. The banks and institutions have clearly been pushing the EUR and AUD currencies relentlessly since March and the RMI PRO V4 EA got caught in this near the start of this massive move. These things happen and the EA has been able to come out of extreme conditions like this before but still, I agree. 38% DD is high.

Its amazing people like to romanticize about EAs yet not accepting the inherent risk of using them!

Most profits are in longer-term trades with lower risk and better vision and logic/psycho advantage than shorter-term trades

You have created one of the better (if not best) EA on the net!
I find your EA is careful when entering the market, postponing entry until it is surer of market direction.
However, I did experience considerable drawdown using 0.01 Lots earlier this year on EURGBP, as market was in a big trend and RMI kept opening Sells. Luckily it closed all in profit, but this has made me wary.
It is hard to achieve fast profits and low risk with EA.

Hi I saw your myfxbook that you had few floating loss on NZDCAD trades same like mine few days ago . I just saw your trades closed with some profit and my still stay floating loss. Why?
I use default setting as well .
