The "Follow the candles" conditions for entry works quite well (71% profit in 6 months). You can see real account results based on this strategy so far in my TE. But I am not using this thread EA. I am making a basket in a different way. Here is how: Have backtested separate each symbol and found the best candidates to include in the basket (in my case 13 symbols) which in 10 years history gave the best results with this strategy (month, week, day candle following). And each symbol included...

Over 100 downloads so far and I can count on one hand how many are actively participating sharing their results in the thread.

The more that share and participate together the faster we will find the best combination of settings.

I'm currently testing multiple set ups, but it will take time as I'm only one person, so the more that join the better.

Picked up a small bug with the panels vProfit refresh rate so got that fixed. The EA is now working 100%.

As always if you guys noticed anything please give your feedback.

This weeks default settings hit SL.

So far its been a mixed bag the last few weeks, and there's no clear sign of which weekly set is better.

Perhaps I need to look at adding another trend filter that could help filter out those pairs that are valid according to the strategy rules, but turn to a loss.

I added this EA on MT4 with default settings but I'm not able to see all the pairs listed in the "Market Pairs" section.
I only see a few of them on the EA dashboard.
Can someone help please?

Make sure you have all the pairs visible in your market watch for the EA to read the pairs you want it to monitor.

You can also adjust the panel size settings so it fits correctly with your computers screen resolution.

Hello mrdfx!
I thank you for sharing the EA. I tested your EA for a week but with 4% settings: 2% and 0.02 Lots for 1000USD. I only came to order when the basket reached 15 pairs or more, the time frame after the US session opened 1 hour and ended before the European session ended on that day.
Last week I was up over 10% in 1 week.

I use your EA as an indicator. When the colors match, I enter according to the currency strength indicator. The results are still good.

Yup the default basket hit SL, and funny enough all my other weekly test hit TP. The 03:00 was the only one that hit SL.

There is definitely a big difference on outcomes depending on what time you open the basket, and this still needs extensive forward testing. Unfortunately I'm only one guy and doing many many multiple tests and only have so much computer resources lol..

I entered 2 trades yesterday based on this EA. Both of them resulted in profit.

I kept all the parameters same except 3 below -

STOP LOSS/TAKE PROFIT - 300/600
Virtural Basket Trigger - 7 Pips
Allow +ve trades only - True

Seeing as you are already testing the default basket and gathering data, we are sort of doubling up. I am also testing a lot of other systems, so can only really dedicate one terminal to this EA. If you specify a custom time that you are not testing already, am happy to go with that setting and report back

Good idea, for the weekly sets I'm currently testing 23:00, 02:30, 03:00, and 03:30.

I've already tested 04:00 and 05:00 which did not wield good long term results. I've been thinking about doing a 01:00, 01:30, 02:00 sets when I get a chance so if you can add any of those.

There are so many possibilities with this strategy, it will just takes some time to test the different variations to find the sweet spot.
