Disliked{quote} Hi Andy The whole point of my previous posts was to point out the current price action is telling us where the market may reverse. As price moves towards a target, we can gauge whether the current move is dense in aggressive market orders. These are orders that are compacted tightly together with almost no space between orders and will almost certainly decimate the pool of limit orders ahead. These grinds are very narrow as I described and best not traded till the first decent pull back. If we are offered a Beautiful Passive Type B Grind,...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Rick, Many thanks for your illuminating posts, it makes a great deal of sense to me. So you are now convinced that the limiting expansion is a curve rather than the straight line of a larger, perhaps not obvious channel?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I developed a nice little indicator that gives me a single number based on my equation. It has alerts to tell me the boundary is close so i don't need to watch my charts all evening. The answer is the the limiting of expansion is calculated from the middle of the order flow and is measured by distance, in a straight line. Curves are what out minds see to make sense of this apparent random action.Ignored
DislikedI wonder, if anybody has a description of how TmaTrue indicator really works? I mean, what type of MA is it? I've only seen .ex4 version of it, which doesn't help digging deep into the code.Ignored
Disliked{quote} As I recall reading from George's thread - True TMA is a variation of LWMA. Here is a link to the source code from someone who figured it out. I would like to point out (as did GeorgeAUS and Moodybot here) that this is not the end all/be all. I would also like to point out I know next to nothing about how GeorgeAUS/Moodybot/RickM et al trade this, so take everything I say on this specific topic with about a pound of salt https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...4#post12066634Ignored
DislikedGJ is on it's way up, and nothing seems to stop the move. I'm trying to find TMA turning points with George's approach. A few small scalps worked, nothing more. So my question is: Is this move currently being controlled conscious by Algos, regarding to the NFP on Friday? And does the former gap (yellow box) have anything to do with this move? Could the experienced algo understanders say something about this move, thanks in advance. Regards Chris {image}Ignored

DislikedJust a small thought... When looking for a target in the few days leading up to NFP it can be...hit or miss...price can shoot straight through...and continue..we then curse, throw away the method and hunt FF for another guaranteed get rich quick...... The clue is multiple pairs beginning to extend beyond 'local' targets as a few have at the moment... every 3 or so weeks sshh!! look to the horizon for a stand out target.. And wait for the confirmed reversal...especially on a higher time frame.Ignored
