Thanks krst8 and Traderview for your analysis. Today two events may generate volatility:
1. London fix at 1500 GMT (end of month flows)
2. President Trump's press conference on China

Also end of week and end of month profit taking may come into play later.

AUDUSD is now at an area of confluence where 200 DMA and a support/resistance level are located. Note in the attached picture how 200 DMA has kept the price contained and the level has multiple hits as support flipping to resistance.

I have read about this from time to time. Wherr do you find the amounts and options prices, is there any free webpage?

lets see.... we are topping same level for 4 days in a row now.. I see lots of comments online saying "he did not say anything substantial".. But i mean the man cant start a war can he when NO OTHER COUNTRY is speaking up against china (i have no personal opinion in if he or the Chinese are correct!!). He said that he will take away HK trade preferences. He also said some pretty ugly not nice stuff about China for 10 min..

Yes, the reporters got pissed on could hear that he did not take a single question, but lets be honest, the reporters were YELLING after him questions, but those question was about Minneapolis, not about China.. Unfortunately i believe that most Americans care more about their own countries politics and riots than a small ex BRITISH colony of 7 million on the other side of the world...

This is not topping, this is pressing up the resistance towards breakout to the upside. Watch next week. 0.6800 is a good target, even farther away is possible. Then, in a couple of weeks from now we might see the reversal back down. But this is too far away in time for me to be more precise. I take it one week at a time. So, next week is generally bullish to me. On the other side, if the sharp drop a couple of days ago is breached and further down anytime next week, reshape the outlook for sideways or downward action.

I dont say no to this scenario!

We have seen last weeks that the market cant break down. ASX may do a new all time high in stocks next week.

As long as stimulus is coming and the central banks is buying stocks/ETFs this will be hard to turn around..

Yes, it is an ascending triangle, with bullish implication. But I'd rather trade the pattern failure which may happen as well.

I am currently bullish on aud, we have good news expected this week and we are currently trending up. I will be looking for buy opportunities only! If we break below and start making lower highs and lower lows then i will be looking for sell opportunities!

We just had a 80pips move up. What did i miss that triggered this move up so strong? The dollar is offcourse just drropping dead, but is that just it?
As expected it will hunt the SL above 0.6725. Added shorts at 0.6740. Expecting it go further down after the US open.
Tomorrow is RBA.
