Hey Rocky... I had another great morning. Seems we were on the same page. I have to admit I did struggle a bit with direction today. How did you determine your overall bias for the morning? I am using the FX power tool that you suggested, but I did see that I had to adapt quickly on some of my positions as I saw things on higher TF's that caused me to reverse my positions on a few trades.

Thegrimreap, Ok disagree with you on SAR but everyone's entitled to their opinion. For me its just a signal to watch for trades/entries/exits. Williams%R is a great scalping tool as long as you are not using it for reversals. As far as period of 16 for %R its a personal preference that or 20, just don't like 14.

Used power indicator which largest takeaway was Aud the weakest currency, later Gbp weakened. Once again I don't use this for picking pairs just checking on currency strength or weakness to point me in a direction. Pretty much just want to know about past 4 hours or less, no interest in longer term outlooks.

Not the worst call Samsha 786. I am waiting for confirmation of a GBP break-down but (for me) the confirmation I need has not manifested yet. With end of month positioning upon us I find the last day or so of the month to be one of consolidation and lots of fake moves etc. But great that you covered the short and got some Pips.

Kind of what I expected today, somewhat erratic price action on the rangey side. Usually happens after a trendy day. So mostly looking to pick off 10-20 pips.
Definitely a scalpers day.

Thanks for sharing your strategy. Much appreciated.

I've been using a Currency Meter to filter out trades - hence not catching what you post. How do you suggest I work around this?

I don't use currency meter to filter out trades, just look to see which currency is strongest/weakest then check pairs with those currencies. At that point its Price action that filters the trades. Price action is King, the indicators are just hints to hopefully provide a reliable edge. To me that's all indicators should be, clues to a puzzle. Not definitive answers. I've never met a successful trader who used a black box system, always traded discretionary systems.
