yeah up again. As trade “war” between Australia and China would hurt its economy that off course mean the opposite, the aud should strengthen... “ironic”..

just follow the money, ie, forex vol, where does price like to trade and it will usually just drift between them.. second guessing media wars is tough, yu never know what the real story is.

6600 is pretty thic and slowly it grinds to test it out.. i said i'd sell it once we some action there so , tick-tock

Looks like on daily chart the 200 MA at 6637 will be tested before it falls... if it falls

another week and the SP500 correlation with AUD USD is fully intact!

If we look at the daily chart AUD (blue line) is spot on on the daily chart. I cant see as of now any chance that this pair can reverse if not something happens to the stock market. if we zoom out prior to these events on a weekly chart some years back we can see that this was not the case for some years..

This week we hade some slight divergence yesterday but it was only for a few hours.

If we look futher, on the last image, were SP500 is right now, we can see that is going for a breakout of the weekly ichimoko cloud. If so, i cant see any reversel of AUD until another stock crash of any???

I been eying for a short towards the weekly ichimoko cloud at 61 level now for weeks, last picture, and got cut out bad several times. Now i dont belive in any magic of TA :-) but this has been my attempt to trading plan that has not went well. If we look at a broader picture AUD is the only major pair that has not testet its daily cloud during this recovery, it really has some magic bullish momentum!

im selling for scalps at 6000-6010 -- even if it drops a bit but comes back to hold 6000 this weekend then next stop is 6700..

if 6600 holds into friday i would be very surprised but aussie is showing strength for two weeks now so careful betting against it.

@krst8, maybe china is trying to crush the aussie economy and then somehow aud/usd and so eventually make the s&p500 drop ?

The price have been stagnating since april from 0.63 - 0.65. It couldn't able to break above or below. Technically, the retrace up to and between 0.6220 - 0.6050.
Even if the market moved up, the far it could go is 0.6685. This will again retrace to 0.63.

we will see, but i am more thinking that fed will by stocks to kick up the us markets If any chance of more down and that this will follow along. Again the spx futures are increasing this mid London seasion and AUD just rides along...

but for sure one wants this to fall deep deep down hehe :-)
