That's right. I normally use around the 38.2% or 50% of the swing depending on circumstances.

Hey Mr. Pip,

Welcome back! so happy so see you in here again. I hope you are in good health and enjoying life.

As for others I see in here who are struggling with trading, I assure you, its not the strategy that isn't working. Its you who is at fault. Dont take me the wrong way but I think being too robotic with a strategy is not a good way to go about it. There are a lot of other variables you need to consider or learn before everything connects together and starts working for you. I've been using Mr. Pip's strategy for a while now, and it took me few months to understand it completely and understand the market behavior. But it works really well as long as you disconnect yourself from the money that you risk every time you take a trade. I would suggest people who only watched the lessons to watch other previous live streams and learn more about how Mr. Pip analyzes the market behavior before entering a trade based on the rules/strategy provided.

Mr. Pip, I am looking forward to more knowledge you plan to bring our way before your retirement.

Yeah defenetly agree with you.... When I first started trading as Damian explained with structure analysis I was pretty robotic with my approach and it didn't worked out that well... Not that I was losing that much overall but I was not going anywhere... I had to struggle for a few months to really start getting that "feel" of the price don't know how to put it in better words that allowed me to make better decisions and start producing results... I honestly believe that the difference between success or fail is in that capability...personally I find the streaming from 15 December 2018 regarding zone trading is extremily valuable as you suggest after the lessons I would start there

I think it happened after the post from Barca 2 pages ago who's post is hidden. His membership has also been revoked. Not sure why you're being punished, perhaps just a glitch in the system.

Back to trading. On the watch list for a possible Gartley setup. AOI extends to the 4hr chart. I like how clean it is atm, setting up for a high potential trade.

New trade. Was a little late then it slipped a bit. Currently going against me but may add if price dictates.

Edit: Just saw the ABCD :/ ..... Will see how goes.

Today GBP/USD 5min chart. I thought this would be a Gartley with D-Point in the red PRZ, have I made a mistake or was it just the risk that comes with trading?
Maybe the "big" distance between 78 and the 127 ?

I always seem to get a few good setups on Fridays...

A bit rough around the edges but imo a worthy Gartlley.
Maybe a bit too much momentum for the last 2x bear candles but waiting to see if bulls kick in. Will wait for close of candle.

Dear Mr. Pip,

I will try to keep this message short but still it will be lengthy. Please bear with me.

I have invested money 8 times in trading and I have lost all my investments in the past 2.5 years due to lack of knowledge, entering into big quantity, not putting stop losses, greed and impatient behavior. I always make a plan to follow the rules but after three or four successful trades which i took as per the rules, i loose my temperament and i start to enter into big quantity with a expectation of huge profits because the following issues are dominating my mind.

1- I want to recover my losses immediately (although i know it is not going to happen overnight). (Impatient behavior)
2- I want to earn money out of this business. ( I did not earn a single penny so far). (Greed)

Finally, i end up with washing out my trading account. Then i go through a painful journey and i blame myself. Why didn't i follow the rules. After few weeks or months, i get normal and start trading again with a new hope but end up my account with the same issues. Sometimes, i feel this business is not suitable for me because i am too emotional and i should quit it. But on the other hand, i think, i should try again and again. I should not lose hope. Please help.

Still easing back into the YM swings, I just haven't liked the swings this week at all. Only took 1 winner Monday and 1 loser today.

Only my 2 cents. I think that you have an issue with discipline. I do not know if your trade plan, gives normally positive results.
Stop to use real money until you get the mental strongness. You could prove yourself with trading 3 months on demo. If your results are then positive, your trade plan would not be the reason to be afraid.

Losses are part of this business. You can minimize them, but not exclude them. The important thing is that you end up in general positive. Do not expect miracles with an individual trade.

I wish all many pips, ticks, €, dollars,...

Thanks for your reply. Yes, i agree with your answers. I have serious issues with discipline. I give you a simple example. i bought gold at 1692 and my analysis told me that it will go in 1745-1750 range. i did this analysis on 11 May 2020. When gold reached at 1701 on the same day i took profit and got out of the trade, reason being "Fear". Now look after four days it reached to 1751.73 today.

This is the story of my life as a trader. Yes i have opened a demo account and it was at 3,000 dollars on 22nd April and now it is 4440. There is no fear of losing money in demo account. I have made rules consisting of 23 points. But when it comes to real trading, i am unable to follow them. Sometimes yes, i follow them and i make profits. The main problem is i know my weaknesses and i know the solution as well. But i am unable to follow the rules which can give me success. I will be grateful, if you could write again and help me to overcome this issue. I know if i will work hard, one day i will overcome these problems.

Then I would suggest to trade an instrument which you can easily afford, like micro Dow Jones, micro Nasdaq or whatever exist. This would be more than demo and not so hard as a mini instrument which would be more expensive.
Moreover, do not regret to have taken a decision. You decided to bail out, so it is what it is.
