Yep, I am short AZ and long GC. Like the look of GU but have little margin and dont want to be overleveraged to GBP. Missed that AC short, it was beauty! Good going!

All the best for the future Davit, your trading has jumped to an amazing level recently, every time I lose confidence I just retrace some of your posts and plot them out on MT4 to try and get better insight into the WHY. Hope you come back sometime!

Shorting EN in the range yesterday and today. 4/4 this week @ 0.5% target per day. Happy out! As always, thank you Davit! Hope to see you soon! I need you to PM me your address so I can send you a fine Irish whiskey! That will sort out the shoulder pain quick fast!

I dont usually trade these pairs myself but am seeing a nice level at S78 on NU to put in a trade or two going north. NZD lost across the board with Tuesdays rate announcement and Orr's comments about 'we hope' we dont have to reduce rates, etc. and with the USD apparently acting as a safe haven, it is an overall risky trade in my book. The pair has been trading in a range and may continue down toward the S100 area, also the bottom of the range or lower. It would look better at that point for a buy, if the US CPI data tomorrow is more red than expected. USD employment data today was worse than anticipated but it still didn't give the NU a boost. Not much NZD news though to drive anything this week. It is Thursday now in my world so we are approaching end of week.

NJ is more rangebound loosely between S38 and R38. Again, no news to drive anything. Both of these crosses are weak though.

What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are USDJPY weakness?
NZD I’m bearish as not much news to drive, and the same for AUD. But AUD is more in a position to sell as stated by Davit. Green USD data tomorrow will help to sell AUD?(LOCATION)

I´m long now with NZDUSD and GBPUSD. Lets see where it goes. For me Position is good, Price Action as well at this moment.

Results for this week - Notes and reflections to self.

Don't 's

  1. Avoid trading EURGBP and AUDNZD. Generally I am bad at both of these. The are very trending and I am not very good at this system yet... Certainly I don't have David's skills as yet.... to scalp 1000pips from 1 support level rejection.
  2. Wait for atleast one 15min candles to close around levels to establish whether there is rejection or not
  3. If get run over wait for a new setup. be patience... i.e. USDCAD broke above pivot and smashed me this week, thankfully I recovered the losses from R38 rejections.
  4. Don't revenge trade when runover as such the case USDCAD - $209 loss after I probably initially lost about $80 - I shorted again too early with bigger lot size and I needed to wait and reload at next level.

Do's

  1. Do watch the price action and focus on the execution at the levels.
  2. Be more patient and save some energy 225 trades.. that was a lot of work.
  3. Wait for the whole week to play out - I notice on Friday for CAD if big US news - CAD can have a very good day, big move on Fridays I have noticed. I closed my AUDCAD and NZDCADs earlier in the week and would have cleaned up on those today...

USD is king and ranging a lot this week - take profits when both weak and strong - I woke up this morning to 250 USD profit which was gone by Lunch time and then went against me a bit and then returned to profit again this afternoon - but not as much... I could have taken the profit and entered again for double dip / triple dip day.

overall learning the system - however still working out the cross currency price day range movements, reaction to news and pivot levels of currencies and price action. more watching, sharper execution and patience required...
