Just going to use this for my trading thoughts. For the people viewing I only have this journal to share with someone I am speaking with on a regular basis. So the flow of messages will seem chaotic unless you were part of that conversation.

This was the first dip I was telling you about on the 4H. This is not the current price action, just an example.

A very sharp trader named xkwisit2001 told me about this indicator, I actually love it on EURAUD 4H.
Search for Halftrend tt x5v4 on forex factory.

This describes my trading style, I surf the waves. The reason I don't trade against the trend is I would look kind of silly standing on a board trying to surf against the waves. Very high probability I would get knocked off my board. LOL Anyhow, Catch the wave, ride it in, get off before you hit land. Swim back out and catch another wave. Just like Forex.

And here is the 30M chart we discussed, blue line marks MACD in uptrend and dips are on 30M.

Red= 50 EMA
Green= 100 EMA
Blue= 240 Linear Weighted MA

Here is a magnified Price Indicator, I always move it to the top right window, I turn off bid ask colors so I don't have to see it flash red green all the time, and then depending on my background change color to black or white. That is just the way I have it, you make it your own if you want it. I just don't like having to look at the small price and this provides me an easy way to read current price.

I changed the MA colours to more of a UK traffic light system

RED - PAY STRONG ATTENTION TO CHART/TREND/DEEP ENTRY
AMBER - KEEP AN EYE ON IT/POSSIBLE GOOD ENTRY CHECK INDIS TO CONFIRM
GREEN - GOOD TO GO, CHECK INDI & CONTINUE WITH TREND

Bottom window is an extra filter I have been testing

Then added 20 day channel to see the trend.

Use SDC on period 20 for past month. Or default for past week.

SSRC I use on default. Looks interesting. lol

I look at initial move up as confirmation with the half trend to enter................ or enter at crossover. Its a good filter for platinum.
