Me personally I trade small but work on quick get in, get out, get on with life. Basically waited for move to stop and sold dollar for a quick 8% additional gain for the week. All this while I had breakfast then shaved. Some days trades take longer to develop but when weeks like this one that PPE is working like clockwork...you stay patient, wait for the market to bring the trade to you. Get in...get out...get on with life.

Do not fall in the trap of "could've held...left money on the table...closed too early" because that is faulty thinking. All you are doing is programing your mind to, first of all, not see the great trade made and by doing so you discredit the system and your ability to follow it and second, think in terms of the market owes you. This brings about disasterous results because it is when bad trade habits are followed like revenge trade, greed and anger. Trading should be emotionless and mechanical. I get out when I get out and like this week I probably could have made an additional 1000 pips had I held. But I traded how I wanted and yes trades went to where I expected and double...but I made my goals and more. Holding at times, has made me lose money I had already earned, or worse kept me on DD and waiting for days or weeks to close at loss or less money than before. So I set my goal, once reached I am done. Again weeks like this one, you just take advantage of it, because usually one week it nothing works, so you compensate...that's all.

Instead of marking $ off you can go to inputs and block that option and the lots too..Makes it easier

Thanks I do that sometimes...just that when doing so it squeezes the bottome info and can't read...I want to show that this is the actual result. Have no trades open or in DD. Adjusted to market conditions and basically trying to be Day Trader like and not have trades open...especially with Oanda.

Glad you are finally getting your shoulder taken care of. Steroids...we can buy them in our local pharmacy here...

There is a possitive correlation between AU and Gold.

There might be a double top for AU Looking on Price from 30. th April to now.

So is there a reason for Gold to go south?

If you can hit 4 % each week you are golden .That's over 15% a month

Personally think AU really wants to reach 66 before any meaningful correction.

Can someone attach the trade report which shows P/L. I only see the compact one in the paperclip. Had a windows update and having to rebuild my template. Thanks.

Something in which I had consistency is with the 4hr charts on pivots is wait for price to stall at R61/S61 + ideally wait for 5 candles to stall at that level. Meaning for the whole day price has failed to break pivots.

Then I will use ATR as a gauge for TP....... If it E/U = 36 then aim for 40 x 5 positions. It works for me I don’t enjoy holding trades for long I like to cash out like you said.

Has been a time since my last post, my account also suffered big on that EA spike, after that, I decided to take some time off. In meantime, the amount of work on my business increased massive, even with this current situation with pandemic. Now going to put some time to trading, in order to rebuild the account again.

As said I trade small, rebuilding trust and account after big losses suffered on spikes.

So far so good, happy with this, week result are OK.

I like pivots. Perhaps I can contribute to this tread. Though I don't know how long I will be here, because people seem to have a habit of subscribing to me and then unsubscribing. If I lose my low impact status, then I am done for. Lol

I was posting ideas in the EURUSD thread but recently left it because I got sick of having to deal with haters and problematic people. Hopefully, things will be different here.
Learn from your mistakes and march on.

Weekly pivots is the main topic here with few other components to create a bias. I suggest you stay true to this threads principles. Furthermore it’s best not to speak to but to listen. Many people that comment on this thread didn’t for the first few months until they had really good understanding what it’s like to trade weekly pivots. Real technical and sentimental analysis working side by side.
