I have an account with Global Prime. They still can accept Canadians. Their spreads are amazing and no issues with funding via credit card. I also use an IB who offers rebates after every trade. So their price is very competitive. You can find some reliable IBs on Google if you search for Global Prime and rebates keywords. Their reviews on FPA is really impressive. I can only recommend them.

Good point. I was at the AUS site. After digging deeper I found Global Prime FX. They do have a few limitations but replaced Canada with Vanuatu.

Global Prime is not able to accept clients from North Korea, Iran, United States of America and Vanuatu."

Im with Global Prime.....their new Sub Broker for Canadians (Vanauata....?!?). Working fine. Good broker. They are solid. I recommend them.

Only caveat is Global Prime spikes their spreads at the end of the trading day 5-6 PM EST. Not uncommon to see spreads widen 10-20 pips. Clears everyone out. Be careful on that.

Since I mostly trade using daily charts widening spreads at the end of the day is my worst enemy.

I checked Axitrader and their web site indicates: AxiCorp is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority – FCA Reference Number 509746.
What is odd is that FCA can only authorize a leverage of 50:1. So I checked if the firm was regulated by FCA and found on the FCA web site:

It's up to you to make your own decision but if the FCA data is accurate I would not invest a rusted penny with that firm
I put my live EA account with Oanda Canada. So far so good. I also manually trade with Questrade.ca but looking to move to someone else as they seem so enjoy to finding ways to hold your money whenever you want to withdraw.

What I love about Canada is that it's easy to open an account. All traders need is a bank account in Canada. The best is that Canada has the highest account protection in the world with CIPF providing CAD 1 million per account in case the broker goes bust. Questrade is even better with CAD 10 million but their Mickey Mouse platform majorly sucks
Choosing an offshore broker is the only option left with Canadians now. Just like traders from United States. I agree to most of the points above, there is an issue with reliability with them, but some of them are actually genuine. if I were to name a few turnkeyforex, fxglory or lmfx etc. Read out for more information about these brokers on Babypips.
FXPig accepts Canadian clients. Haven't funded or tried them yet but not too bad of reviews on forexpeacearmy.
Evolve Markets funded with BTC is awesome. No problems at all. MT4 and MT5 and web platform.
I have live accounts with AxiTrader and AVAtrade. Use axi most of the time(better leverage) Like them both still after many years.
I am using Fusion Markets. The CEO is from Pepperstone, super nice guy. The spreads are good for zero commissions with the Classic account. The Zero account offer tighter spreads with a $4.50 CAD commission. 500:1 leverage and great customer support. I found Fusion on ForexPeaceArmy where Fusion has a link for Canadian clients. Happy trading!

FXPig doesn't have a compensation fund in case it goes bankrupt so only traders that like to take chances would put their money at risk with this broker.

Trader's way is the same as FXPig since it doesn't have a compensation fund in case it goes bankrupt.

Three points:

1. Could you please explain why choosing an offshore broker is the only option left for American and Canadian traders?

2. I'm American and I would never put a cent with an American broker because of crappy regulations and no protection in case the broker goes bankrupt. I have experience with many forex brokers that went bankrupt and the US ones are the worst unless you don't mind taking them to court. Best are those in Canada, Cyprus, Greece and UK.

3. I trade with OANDA Canada because it has great regulations backed up by a great protection fund of $1 million per account in case OANDA goes bankrupt.

I think preferences of each trader are subjective. I know some offshore brokers can be a mess at times, but the ones I have mentioned, I have tested those and out of personal experience I say that they are good.
Coming to the brokers that come out of Canada, Cyprus and all, they might be good, no doubts about it. But as I said, it all ends up at personal preferences. Like if I talk about leverage, then OANDA just provides a max of 30:1, whereas with turnkeyforex, lmfx, it is expandable upto 500:1. Not all brokers provide the same trading conditions and so according to suitability, some factors have to be given up at times.
