Hello everyone,

I was wondering if any of you use or recommend a broker that allows my to trade stocks and accepts Canadians. I'd also be interested if they offer commodities, FX, etc.

I've tried searching this forum, but have not come to a decisive answer as I've read that some brokers will try and make you lose as they won't really execute your trade, just take your money.

Thanks in advance,
Luke

my personal choice would be to go offshore/ go with an internet brokerage. they are also known as discount brokerage as stock trade commissions can be quite insane. i've seen some brokers offer commissions of $29.99 or so which is quite high. with discount brokerage, you pay about $5 or so which is much cheaper.
