Back in 2010 I remember was a similar system to buy I do not remember the price, I still have a PDF but can't share here because of the copyright, traded on M5, M15 and higher TF-s, but rules are:
-Identify the current trend. (For example: use 200SMA or 200EMA to identify the current trend. If the price is above the SMA – the current trend is up or opposite)
Make a 5 trades per day with 10 pips Profit each.
Take profit:
Your target is 10 pips. You can also try to use a trailing stop order to maximise your profit.
Stop loss:
Stop loss needs to be placed above or below the third candle: If you BUY – place a stop 1 pip below the third candle, if you SELL – place a stop 1 pip above the third candle.
1. Find the fourth candle
2. Enter your trade at the start of the fourth candle
3. Close your trade in a few minutes with 10 pips profit.
200 EMA/SMA for trend, and We BUY at the very beginning of the 4th candle if the current trend is up and your candles figure is going up
We SELL very beginning of the 4th candle if the current trend is down and your candles figure is going down.
I hope this helps to determine SL and Money Management.
The "Monday-Tuesday HL 50%" that Daz adds to the trending is very interesting. So, I created a simple EA and tested some of them. And we are getting some interesting results. Period is from 2015 to 2019 The data used is FXDD, so some data is missing. In all currencies, the number of bars in 1H was about 31,300.
