XM has stopped offering trading on Cryptocurrency CFD pairs since the 4th of September 2019.

A relevant email and notification inside the Members Area was posted back then.

i open one sell trade and one buy trade but all my sell and buy trade swap gone negative why because previous month only buy trade swap gone negative and sell trade swap gone positive but this month all gone negative why?

I was blocked yesterday by XM and got such a message:
"In that regard, our Anti-fraud Department has brought to our attention that the trading patterns in your Account(s) raise serious concerns that your Account was being used for ‘arbitrage’ activities."

Yesterday I created a new additional account as I thought I can trade from them simultaneously, trying to minimize the risk. I didn't know that such a technique is against the rules, that's why I did it. I don't have much experience in the market because of that I wasn't aware that my approach is classified as ‘arbitrage’ activities.
If there anything I can do to continue trading on the platform? Is that decision is final? I wrote yesterday to XM in response to that unpleasant email which I've gotten, but no response yet.

I want to add just one thing. Why does XM treat their own clients like that? Why no warning first? Maybe, first of all, they should explicitly warn their clients about such prohibited techniques. For example, if someone, like me yesterday, is creating a new additional account they should receive a warning message about what they can't do from that new account?
I am very disappointed by how I was treated by the XM yesterday.

I would be happy to assist you but I will need you to be more specific with ticket number or trading in which instrument exactly.

As a general rule of thumb you should understand that swaps are charged based on the interest rates of each country e.g USA Interest Rates - USD, ECB Interest Rates - EUR e.t.c and interest rates have changed a lot in the past 3 months after the Pandemic Breakout.

However in order for me not be talking general, if you can follow up with me with the ticket number or more details of the trade in question I will be happy to check it out for you.

I regret to inform you that your trading accounts were terminated due to the fact that you were placing opposite orders with your trading accounts.

This cannot be deemed as an acceptable strategy as you create an environment which does not follow the fair rules of trading and makes the strategy in a way risk free and therefore not permitted. Further to the latter, I would like to stress the fact that this constitutes a violation of our terms and conditions and therefore, any profits/losses generated from the said transactions were nullified and any available balance in your trading accounts was sent back to the initial source of deposit.

In addition, please note that in XM we welcome constructive feedback, thus your suggestions are duly noted.

I agree that I violated rules, though I did it unknowingly. And I hope that XM will do something to make sure that in the future new clients like me, will be fully aware of this potential "trap" and consequences. When I was creating an additional account I wasn't aware that it will have such implications and that I'm doing something wrong by placing opposite orders.
But after all, it's a lesson for me, though a bitter one.
Is there any chance to trade again on the platform or should I look for a different broker? I would like to have the opportunity to continue trading with XM following the rules of course.

I have just installed your XM android app and it's terrible, it's not a native app it's web-based app, it just goes to your website and ask me to login in, it's basically just like google chrome in my phone, don't you guys think you need a native android app that will not just redirect us to your website because if we wanted that we could've used our browsers?
it's just my feedback.

I am not sure which App you have downloaded since XM app (for MT5) is 100% native app. The XM app is this -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...m.webapp&hl=en

Now something to note:

Trading is only available to MT5 accounts.
MT4 accounts are directed to the website and have limited functions availability.

Unfortunately though, it is our Company’s policy not to allow clients, who have previously violated our terms and conditions of business to open a new trading account.

In this respect, I regret to inform you that your request to open a new trading account with our Company cannot be process.

what did you do btw? It is normal for broker to do whatever they like when it conflict their interest.
How Are you XM Official. Would like to know do you offer zero spread accounts/ commission based.

I've created two accounts and made from them opposite bets.
First account short position, second account long position, and after that my accounts have been blocked.
Best broker I have ever seen. I am pleased with their services. Their low spreads and high leverage help me a lot to make my trading easier.

For the rest, I will share my recent exp with XM.
I am in the midst of exploring, and contacted their Support to request for prices of expired Futures CFDs at their expiration date for last 3 months, which are no longer in MT4.
To be fair, they are very responsive to emails, but none of them provide any information related my request. Got a feeling it is being attended by different persons and overlooked the email trail.

I would say common questions are okay, if you are asking something rare or too technical then you need to be prepared to explain the same things over and over, and pray hard that it would somehow and some day be answered.

Escalated this to the so called Personal Client Relations Manager just now, not sure if it would make any difference.
