DislikedGuys sorry, can someone explain me what is the difference from FTR and FL? Let me know if i have understood: Once price create a FTR after Engulf - FTR - Engulf, when price return to the FTR , the range created is the FL.. is that right?Ignored
DislikedOk so are the same thing but are timeframe dipendent? I mean, after engulf, the price should do an FTR and then engulf again. The ftr in lower timeframe should be a flag limit because are more candles that retrace.. Am i right?Ignored
Disliked{quote} In this case I would look at the obvious supply level where you were expecting to sell from and think that this is a great place for the ITs to find liquidity just above (taking the stop losses of people thinking the same as you). So if we have a possible selling zone directly above a nice, obvious high like that (which will line up with another high to the left, more or less) then that is a BSZ. The stops are taken, and we use the next zone up to sell from. That's how I understand it anyway, though my experience is limitedIgnored
Disliked{quote} Sorry for late reply factTree. I completely agree, it was a BSZ trade in hindsight. The question is how do we determine if it the entry will be FO or it will be LSK. I can of course just choose the FO everytime but then i would be missing many trades. Picking LSK everytime will make my RR horrible. I have been stuck for a few weeks trying to figure this one. Of course the answer is to see where is the orders but still, its a very simplified one. CheersIgnored
DislikedWill high impact news (or any news for that sake) impact the setup or the news will only take the price faster to the entry point or take price faster to the target?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes it often sets up before news. There are several common behaviors before, during, and after news. You should go back and study past eventsIgnored
Disliked{quote} Would you agree that WTI(cfd) was a good example? ENG around 03/20, retracement, rallied, followed by the news https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2020-04-02/trump-s-10-million-oil-barrel-tweet-is-performance-art for extra boost.Ignored
