What confuses me is why do people put so many indicators on charts? What is the actual indicator telling them? Do they even know? Or do they think they know & it's giving them an edge?

Frankly I'm only interested in unique yet untried systematic strategies. Money management must certainly play the leading role in them.Ignored

However, consider the settings "Pip_Distance = 10" and "TakeProfit_Pips = 40" -- i.e. new positions (with multiple lot sizes) are opened every delta 10 pips and all positions are closed at net 40 pips. Within the expanding triangle (in your screen shot) there are bullish and bearish stretches that greatly exceed these relatively small pip values -- hence, many cycles would start and complete within the H1 expanding triangle....Ignored
