You are confusing the definition of market makers with commercial trader. It's really sad that you continue to do this. A simple Google search "what is a market makers in forex" will clear things up for you. But, seeing as you are probably to lazy to do that I'll do it for you.

Here you go. Read it and understand what a market makers is, and stop misusing the phrase, you will confuse many newbies reading this and that is the problem with this forum, too much misinfo.

COT does not influence the market. It can still be used as a tool for retail traders as far as long term sentiment goes.

The data is still useful information if you know how to read it. The delay is necessary for legal reasons.

Of course Shabs, Supply and Demand has been there since begining of times.

But the concept of S&D areas you can identify in a chart, has been brought up by Sam Seiden 10 years ago, as far as I know. The idea that you can make a trade from exact pip entry identifying a "zone" of Supply or Demand... All of this has been brought up by this guy.

IMO, 'Supply and Demand' from a forex trader's perspective is akin to 'a canvas' from painter's perspective.
Likely you have to add something on top on either to make sense of the product as a whole.
SSeiden's unique way of processing SD unfortunately either didn't work ...or the 'disciples' couldn't make it to + alot other issues.
Alfo*** here on FF, and so many others, have their unique SD approaches and their 'disciples' aren't complaining.

Lest we say Moving averages, Oscillators, Elliot wave, SR, Trend lines all do not work because *FACT* somebody is busy losing money with them.

Book A and Book B.

If you can trade, your broker will assign you to Book A, if you can't trade, like most can't, they trade against you and you will be assigned to Book B.

Yeah that's a real thing. Not every broker does this but smart ones do. It makes sense if you think about it.

Well thats the whole point.. the "disciples" of Sam Seiden didn't make it.. none.. Thats why he got investigated. The Broker he had an agreement got investigated and they found out most of the people lost their money in a period of time of 6 months.. Sam Seiden programme to start making money was supposedly 6 months.

I don't see any disciples from the threads of S&D in this forum showing the approaches tought here to work either.

Now.. could it work?? probably.. same as any other concept or idea could work... but for me it is way beyond a "system"..

My problem is.. it is easy to get caught by the label "supply and demand zones"... Maybe I call it "tomatoes and bananas" and make it work..

You need a more catchy label to sell.

Let's face it, Sam Seiden got plenty of people who probably didn't pay for his course chose to be his "supply and demand" disciples. Marketing genius he is.

I get it, it's the paying disciples complains that got him into this mess.

well take a look at those trades, do they look like a guess trade?

demand and supply work for me and i know a lot of people who profit trading demand and supply...

For sure Bleeze. It could work for everyone.. But like I said, I could label it "tomatoes and bananas" instead of "S&D zones".. and make it work too.. I just don't believe in systems created by a concept of technical analysis.. Unless it is a money managment strategy.

I am glad it works for you... I just don't trust in screenshots.

I could upload a screenshot with an order that never got filled by few pips and say "another winner" ... or I could upload another screenshot of a trade I lost and say "that was close from my SL, but then I won"... I could give you many examples like this.

I am not here to judge anyone.. But the only way to prove anything here is with Trade Explorers from regulated brokers, or any other form of tracking results. Just showing % made in this year.. no need to show money or lots..

This is just my point of view. If someone says this works, there should be proof to back it up, right?

Just my thoughts.

you could still see a thousand explorers and still doubt its realness.. successful traders really dont bother themselves about things like this... its important to focus on yourself and understand that it takes more than just trading system to be a successful trader... seeing trading explorer doesnt mean if you are given the same system and rules u would make a dime from it...
never seen a system that gives a clearer MM than SAD. you could have a 30% win rate and make a lot of money trading demand and supply methodology.
you just have to understand how it works, how to put all the moving parts together. not all zones on your charts are worth trading.

Successful traders dont bother in showing TEs but bother on explaining in forums if it works, uploading screenshots and how succesful they are with it??

I believe its all the opposite.. You can doubt the realness of a screenshot.. You can't doubt the realness of a Trade Explorer with at least 1 year data from regulated broker.. Statistics are there..

Of course if a TE is showing 500% in 1 year and the broker name is "Super Duper Broker"... you Google it up and doesn't exist or is not regulated... then for sure that is fake lol..

But as long it is all regulated and showing Live account, there shouldnt be any problem. Also, I don't see any reason why a successful trader wouldn't bother in uploading his TE.. In fact all the opposite I guess.. I would upload TE and don't give many explanations of what I do..
I have met one with 4 years data TE from a very popular broker.. very successful guy indeed. Not many words..

Again, just my thoughts.

Look it's a simple concept, when prices have moved fast from a period of consolidation in the past, then when price returns there, with all conditions being the same, then there is a probability that the same price move could take place. Basically, professional traders will be watching that level or zone and could react to it and you profit by entering the trade with them, if they do. Why the price moved fast in the first place could be relevant, such as a major news event, a natural disaster etc.

Most traders blame the system far too quickly, after one or two failures they start tweaking and changing rules etc. Failure usually comes from poor discipline to follow rules, trading too large a postion, Late Trade entry, poor stoploss placement and general poor trade management is where most traders fail.
But the system will be blamed first, overlooking the real reason for failure the trader himself.

If you don't understand how Supply & Demand works then that's absolutely fine by me, carry on.

Oh no but I do understand this concept. In fact is not bad at all. Like I said, anything could work... My problem is with the idea of "FIXED" systems... Just like Sam Seiden was selling..

Fixed exact pip entry, perfect entry.. Fixed SL.. Fixed TP.. Fixed R:R. I believe no one can show good results trading like this on the long run.

Perhaps I am wrong. Thats why I say TE is important.

I think you are misquoting greatly about the system Sam Seiden was selling.

Anyway, as long as you get the point that it wasn't the system that the FTC are charging him & Co. for, it is the mis-selling with fraudulent unsusbstantiated claims and the harrassment that people were subjected to, if they who complained to the authorities about this.

Wrong. It is not about the broker, it is about computer expert how he can fake TE, no matter how legit broker is. You have been stretching about people showing you TE. Not going to happen. No one is obligated to show you anything. If you don't believe someone whatever no one cares and no one is going to lose any sleep over it. You seem to be stretching this here for days now, and by reading your comments you are very frustrated. Go stand by the window or something get some fresh air. If people does not want to show you TE, does not mean they are liars. I will not show you my TE because I do not want to that is it. If I was selling something here, I would attach it and show it. But I am not so I will not show it to anyone. Even if you show it, it does not mean it is legit. Even you that has TE live, does not mean is legit. But we do not care, no one is looking at your TE. Stop stretching also that supply/demand strategy is not legit. YOU ARE WRONG. You just don't understand it. You are trying to prove a point, but you don't have a point. You are wrong and the sooner you accept it, you will stop frustrating yourself. Instead of frustrating yourself, attach some charts and show us how you trade. Any currency doesn't matter.

Also genius, do you know how a lot of people that are selling their products show their "results". They will show % success. So what they do, they open two accounts, with small deposits. They buy on one and sell on the other. Once that happens they will combine all the winners, and put few losses, and show to everyone and say here look, my strategy is profitable and they will claim they are good. You have a very long way to learn about trading business. You can tell that you don't know much about trading, which is fine we all been there. But stop trying to prove a point when you don't have one. Learn from others and watch and share charts. You will see it will get better.
