GBPUSD trade idea.

Look out for critical support sitting at price 1.22030 for more downside or we could see rejection and bounce back up otherwise we will be seeing a new low before bouncing back up. Will see London session.

Hi all. Please take a look at the following chart (EURUSD/M15). Have I drawn the box (two horizontal green line) correctly? I've just joint this thread and I might have some more questions.

My adr for today is 173,

I 00-00 bar, if high or low breaks I will look for + 15/20 to start.

Hi guys, I hope you have a beautiful week. I have a query with the EMAs, do they use different periods in different pairs? or how do they use them? Because I saw along the EMA thread of 13-50-200-800 ... 13-50-80-200 ... I would like to know how they are calculated or what criteria are based, they would help me a lot by answering this question. Todays chart, we have 00-00 bar with a range of 44. and the adr is 173.

BUT FIRST, I COULD DO WITH THIS FAILING SO YOU WILL SEE IT DOES/CAN FAIL..
edit, I had to leave to close my long lol.

So what happened today.
The High broke and I went long.... How far will it go?????? the adr says it should be not far from 12400 (I did post area yesterday).
At this moment in time I have no idea how far it will travel, it might just retrace. (it did but turned again).
The first break is always harder to trade as we do not know how far it will go. It would be easier if it retraced and broke low.
I have been editing this a few times. ( adding info)
time now is 07-34
so , I don't know how far it will travel off first break.
That is why I entered with a view to make 15/20 points. I got 15 and closed, it did drop and I re entered for another 12 (I think) lol.

Haha. Same here. Profit has been banked. I did that while I was in another meeting.

I thought you were going to actually try and do a fail trade on purpose for us and then walk us through how you claw it all back.

There is always tomorrow I guess.

time now 07-39 and price is 12266.IF I went long right now and it failed I would be minus 57 points.
Take away 57 from the adr of 173 = 116
So if we then short at 00-00 low of 12209 , we will have 116 points to play with.
That is the easy part, the adr is an average, we could get more points or more likely less.
PLUS we have the 00 .
Soi we have 116 to play with, lets half it, so we now have 58 points to play with,

AND/ALSO I will adjust my lot size, sometimes

edit, and sometimes I add on/compound.
I haven't today so far.

Hi Ron - yep, I got lucky on the EURUSD - sold 1.0935 ,managed to buy them back at 1.0816

It is covering the 00-00 4 hr range high,
