Anyone who wants to do this system manually put this EA on just one chart.
Then just click buy or sell on every chart the EA will do everything for you.
Set your stops and your profit targets.

Sorry for my English.
I'm using the last version of your EA. But It couldn't open any position. I'm sending you an example for EUR/USD.
I couldn't understand the reason. In the picture you can see my EA settings and the error message at EA info panel.
Please help me to solve the problem.

Using the script, I tried to tweak the SL and lot size , but all efforts failed. After all attempts and clicking Ok, the script revert to the former settings. What is the solution, please

You can allow more headroom in your SL using the settings

Hi, and thank you for supplying screen shots - they were most helpful!

Yes, as the error message says, it didn't open the order because the lot size was too small.

 

  1. You are using money management (i.e. the EA will automatically calculate the lot size for the order based on your account balance) and have selected to risk 1% of your account balance per trade.
  2. The EA has calculated the lot size based on this and the size of the stop loss, and determined that the lot size is probably less than 0.01 lots.
  3. You have set a minimum lot size of 0.01 lots, so the EA will attempt to use this value.
  4. You have also set the option "Trade if less than minimum" to false, so this stops the EA from entering the trade, because the risk is too great.

You have a couple of ways around this:

  1. Change the "Trade is less than minimum" to true: how ever you could end up risking more than you intended.
  2. Used fixed lots, and set the lot size yourself.

Currently, no, but the coding is there to support it, so it could be enabled.

The issue with doing this though is the rules that need to be put into place...

  1. Do you allow a second trade while the first is still open?
  2. Do you allow a second trade if the first lost?
  3. Do you allow a second trade if the first won?
  4. If you allow a second trade, do you want to limit it to the same direction or the opposite direction of the first, or no limits at all?
  5. How about a third, or fourth trade?...

Basically, it gets to being a bit of a minefield rather quickly, and is more likely to be easier to open new trades manually, on those few occasions that you want to use this feature.

If there's a demand for it, and I can get a good idea of how it should work (without being too complicated!) then I may build it in.

After I load the EA on 1 chart, subsequent charts I load the EA on show this the notice "Restored 1 trade groups.."
Is this an issue?

I think it's better to open the second trade in any direction just when the first one has hit the SL.

Hi Dazamate, where can one see the orders that are pending when your EA is running for MT5- WTF trader. They do not show up in the trade terminal until they are executed and the trade is live.

Hi to all the EA gurus.

I dont really understand them as I am an old fart LOL. Question at the start we are told that positions not opened by the close of the weekend should be cancelled and the open trades let run. Is this what the eas you are using do ????

Hi Stumpy,

My EA (MoTuBo_EA) uses market orders, so you won't have any pending orders to cancel. Whether or not you leave open orders over the weekend is up to you.

Ahh now I am starting to understand so the EA trades at market when the conditions for the order fulfill. The disadvantage of this is that you cannot review the orders and you will have to have tested the EA to ensure you can trust it. What is the advantage of this?
