Pet I mentioned that last week in this thread.. if candle 3 cross closes candle one, then it's good enough confirmation and no need for candle 4, if anything it will get you in the trade late.

my last post was referring to Daily chart 3-Candle method, not this method and I am just trying to pin point something that may relate to the both methods.

ok.. anytime you get a reverse candle who covers the previous two then you're golden to take a shot at, hourly TF and above as long as is not in a range dead PA regardless of whatever method.

Not what I was referring to but lets see what happens to cad/jpy hr chart

Ive been noticing the same exact thing. Candle 3 must close above/below BOTH candle 1 and 2. Not just the open/close of candle 1 and 2, but the entire candles including wicks. But don't forget, location is very important. You can't just blindly take all 3 bar reversals. Here's an example:

You should now have a Script IBFX-Undock, drag this onto any chart and the chart will undock/free float and should do what you were looking for

Great observation. I mentioned earlier in the thread something I'm using as a filter which seems to have potential... Only trading in direction of most recent Daily fractal. I'm using that as a bias, and trading 1hr with 15min entry.

Working on this indi. I am not quite there yet but it is looking hopeful. Visually (on the chart) it looks easy. Programatically it is a bit more complex
