{quote} I'm glad you like the indicator. ____________________________ @anybody_who's_interested: I've added three appendices to the 'Pair Stength Analyzer.pdf' instruction manual. This puts all of the info in the 'Modifications History', and the info that was scattered throughout the thread in linked posts, all together in one place. Download it from post #1.

I'm sorry, PSA is written using MQL4 build 509, hence push notifications are currently not possible. If I ever upgrade it to build 600+, it will be an easy job to add them.

I explained how I use the PSA indicator here (includes a screenshot of the parameters). However, I am a programmer, not a pro trader. Also please note that, like all price-derived indicators (including strength meters), PSA is a lagging indicator, and that TA is limited in its predictive capability (more here here here and here).

Congratulations on the indicator! Really good. Just a question, I have an account at ICMarkets and would like to put the gold in it, I saw what letters to translate the pair, how and where do I find this table? For exotic and metal pairs? I thank you all!

Entries in BGHeightHstartWidthColor are:
1. background height (per line, in pixels)
2. starting horizontal position on chart (in pixels)
3. background width (number of characters)
4. color is B[0<=blue<=255]G[0<=green<=255]R[0<=red<=255])
These must be separated by commas.

If you want to make the background less wide, decrease the third value. Please feel welcome to experiment with any of these settings.

Background is created by plotting BGWidth repetitions of the Webdings character 'g'. (g) The font size is BGHeight.

Sorry but I don't use this indicator. You might be able to find an answer in this thread. Or try Google.

Looks like it could be a data related issue. Depending on your parameter settings (number of CurrencyPairs, LengthsForRegr, PeriodsForRegr) and the speed of your internet connection, it could take several minutes to load all of the necessary data. This is a once-only setup overhead. I'm using AxiTrader-US03-Demo server, and it has all of the required data for the 28 major pairs x all 9 timeframes.

Sorry, and please don't take this personally, but I will be ignoring and disliking any posts that are off topic, because they clutter the thread and make it more difficult for members to follow information relating to the PSA indicator.

I've got a question. Maybe I missed something, but why does the file PSA-DL (where all the pairs are listed), doesn't accumulate history the same way as the file PSA-CROSSTAB (where only currencies are listed). If it did, it would be so much easier to analyse the history with various settings?
Could you add the PSA-DL file using the same style as with PSA-CROSSTAB?

@hanover please kindly consider this request.

Your effort is very, very much appreciated indeed.

The file you name in OutputFile is designed for a different purpose. I don't wish to change its format, beacuse other traders are already using it. But I will add an option for all of the selected instruments to be output to the Crosstab file, when I get some spare time.

Note that the instruments displayed on screen will need to be sorted alphabetically to use this option, so that their values remain consistently in the same column of the output. If you want the instruments to display on screen sorted by strength/weakness, you will need to run second instance of the indicator on a 'dummy' chart, with a different UniqueID.

If anyone here has the PSA_CROSSTAB.csv , with refresh period H1 that has data running back about a 3 months.
Help.
