This being glued to the office chair has its advantages (not least that the other half - she don' come in 'ere!!!) in that money is money is money.

Didn't pick up any Billy-Based activity early on. However, jumped back and forward between Cable and The Monster and running that Alien Tech over them nabbed +42 on Cable and +something-I-haven't-worked-out-yet on The DAX. All good.

No pretty pictures though, just too fast with multiple entries stacked, sorry.

However, I did then jump over to UC and stuck a quad sell on using the old t-89 method on the 1-min chart.

That was more sedate and let me nab the chart.

UC 1-min +1.2 +2.7 +4.4 +5.8 [+14.1]

Morning all. Billy doing wick zone trades? Nice. A good trader knows when to adapt.

Also great to see everyone is trading as per normal. I had a feeling market manipulation would be rife but doesn't really seem to be the case (other than the darned spread on Gold lol).

I am no mad conspiracy theorist but I just get the feeling we are seeing a dry run for...something. They do it in the US every year, run exercises featuring the construction of civilian ''holding'' camps. Just in case of, you know, civilian unrest...not that they would ever use them...oh nooooooooo.

However this has started out, natural, man-made, human-error, whatever - what it has become is a real-life chalk-board thought-experiment in seeing how far the populace can be herded in any given direction before any push-back and of course, the push-back is now hugely limited by the use of the techniques talked about in the Spiked article.

Seen many 'scares' over the years but at least this one ( applying cold, un-emotional logic) spares the young/older and healthy people. I do wonder if the only reason for trying to dampen the speed of contagion is merely to prevent the NHS being over loaded thus exposing any short comings or problems arising from years of cuts.
If it ran its' course many would die helped, in large part, by underlying health issues. At one point I thought Boris was going for this approach (herd).
I don't think you can social distance germs, little buggers travel a long way. People recover but wrecked economies can take a little longer. Thus some poor souls can recover from Covid but sink under debt/illnesses caused by a broken economy.
Be interesting to see what happens in India and America, how they consider their respective populations, with their different approaches and social systems.

i think their is so much turmoil in market manipulation is out. Actually, i think you just said that.

Trading like i have is too easy, such big moves. (whip less likely)
i do prefer stable though, nice range to trade off..
as my saying goes, you cannot out fox a fox, and i am that fox.

Mr T, on paper it is easier to spread virus over time.
The NHS would be overloaded as would any country on the planet.

The way the nah sayers are talking, we should a bed, doctor, nurse, ventilator for every person in the UK.
It doesn't work like that.

100% right, T. Of course this is all about stopping an overloaded NHS from collapsing. So, learn from this and fix the damned thing. I have two relatives work in NHS, as I have mentioned before and the stories they tell of the collosal level of waste and especially appalling mismanagement are mind blowing.

The only European country now going down the herd immunity route (the correct one in my view) is the Nederland's. UK bowed to hysterical media pressure from the chattering classes.

We will see if its the right way, I understand the reasoning behind the the decisions... Work in health care myself and its a crazy time atm...

In Houston we are going into martial lockdown, basically. The cops are allowed to pull you over and ask why you aren’t at home... scary indeed... with a fine and jail time as a threat.

in warfare you want a lot of casualties with people who cannot fight further, these casualties clog up the system with transporting them, hospitals being filled, bad for moral etc

Over with The Dead Zone, once again there was nothing much to get overly excited about, even if you could have convinced yourself that UC may be a goer. Short Bias.
