There is one thing you can control in your trading and that is your Stop Loss. Your SL will determine if your account will survive or not in the long run. There is a difference between hindsight and dissecting your trades.

I dissect my trades so that I can learn from my mistakes and improve on my next trades. There is no shame in sharing your losing trades.

Took this EURJPY trade (The entry could have been better close to the T2 and trend line to get 1st 50 pips and BE trade)

I went out and ran some errands today. My City has turned into a virtual ghost town. Just about everything but grocery stores and pharmacies is shut now. Even some takeout Restaurants are closing. I have Canadian and US accounts with one of the banks I use and I got this message online today, and when I dropped by the branch to withdraw some money from the ATM it was closed. Think I might buy some more beer tomorrow. I heard the Liquor stores might be closing as well.

Here's a good video from Nick on today's current trading situation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Yxn...ature=youtu.be
Ignored
Thanks Nick for the video
To sum up dont trade daily candles, dont hold trades over the weekend.
I trade 15min anyway and right now have UC in profit and let it ride and AN very close to become profitable.Nothing else.No Yen
Agree times like this its highly volatile market you only need to look EN EA spikes in thousands.Pretty scary looking candles.

Another tip.
Keep your account same meaning if its 10k
Any profits made take out keep 10k
unless you want to increase the account then fine but taking money out regularly is good practice. Emmanuel had this post about lotto account. What it is basically after reaching your invested capital take your start up money out then you are just trading with house money.
I like this idea.
cheers

I had incredible 14hr trading run last week.Made great money and realized one thing.I was happy taking my profits after 40-50 even 30pips out because of market conditions.Had I stayed example EU long I would of got crashed friday late dumping of it.
We adapt to market conditions!

Another observation.
Almost all my trades were based on new template 15min chart and worked beautifully.Gave me lots of confidence for next week.
Voty who likes old TDI cross (although I never traded TDI crosses on this thread) on UJ short this turned out not so great.

Guys dont stray from principles here.Stay on course. There is solid reason why I don't like oscillators. They skew reality and that we dont need.

The system has involved to highest level I think. Its sharp on to the point. No wasted energy right on target. Its clear rational logical.

Took 59 trades in 14hrs all winners.Example below on EU
Above MA's and in the zone going with UP momentum. Had lots of EU made almost 900 on it.Notice late dumping of it.Glad was not trading daily candle or H4

Have to agree with your statement about oscillator’s. People rely on them as a signal, when the only true signal is current price level.

Have seen a lot of people dive in on a oscillator cross, only to get dragged into a massive DD because of a divergence.
Trade with confidence, trade without fear.

Power of fib pivots work on all time frames. My preferred setup of late period markups/markdowns work surprisingly well. Been taking advantage of the volatility with indexes. Banked another $1k in little over an hours time. 5m candle on the 4H pivots. Late period technique mentioned here: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...6#post12489736 {image} {image}

Can you offer me some assistance on how to edit settings to create the 4hr pivots? I would imagine the number 30 is involved as there are 30 4hr candles in the trading week. Thanks.
