Thought I would share one last idea on your great trading method. After this I will probably just follow along as I have my own method of trading & will stay focused on that method. Along with using Bollinger Bands I have found these 1234 Patterns located at the Logical Levels/ Round Numbers Levels such as 00-50. Example
1200 & 1250 levels. Find a Sweet Spots indicator load it on your chart & the pattern there. As you know the Big Players are always using their tricks at these levels. Just as with any method these patterns will fail at times. Nothing is 100% accurate in this business. I have found when you locate these patterns after a strong move UP or DOWN they usually work out in your favor. The odds are more in your favor after a strong move & even after a 50% retracement. When price moves say 10-20 points ABOVE the 00-50 Levels look for the patterns. When Price is rejected at those levels look for the patterns.

These are just my views & observations & nothing more. The patterns are there. You have to find how to best trade them & which patterns are mostly likely to work.

Below is a great Sweet Spot indicator for everyone. Hope this helps those trading this method.

This is how I trade these 3 bar fractal breaks. But I usually trade the breaks of candle 3. I will be using yours too. When I have the directional bias locked, I also consider candle 4 when its an inside bar (powerful coil setup).

GU was a pleasure to work with today using the 15/5 and 5/1 combos, some inevitable losses but came out nicely on top. With the current climate and ridiculously huge ranges it's a good time to be trading if you have the right tools i.e your method, Daz.

I'd be keen to get involved with the planned webinars and Telegram group etc. I did search for the one mentioned by T4Trade but as WindFreeze10 mentioned it doesn't seem to come up in a search.

did a backtest for a short period and found this method to be worthwhile. Just one question. Is the number 2 bar the highest or lowest of the three bars? Please see my chart and appreciate a confirmation please. Thank you

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. You are right, the lowest/highest.

yes bar 2 is the apex of the three bars.

6060, Spot on. You showed what I described in an earlier post about using Bollinger Bands & looking for these patterns at price extremes & when the bands constrict in a price consolidation mode. Patterns in these areas seem to work well, but nothing is going to be 100% accurate.

Take a look at the indicator I shared in post #385. Patterns seem to form around the logical levels/ round numbers (00-50) that this indicator will plot on your chart.

Just sharing my views.

I am using Bollinger Band and actually I do not use the squeeze. But when I see price hugging either the lower or upper band so I ride on the trend instead of counter trend (reversal) which this thread is all about. We can take this off line so as not to introduce something that is not the plan of this thread.

Lets not talk about other strategy that is not in this thread for respect of the originator. thank you.
