How are you guys trading this successfully? Perfect setups are so rare that you might only make 5 trades a week and that's if you're watching 20 pairs. Anything less than a 'perfect' setup and its a 50/50 win ratio.

DislikedHi i found this strategy and it seems interesting, i understand that it says not to use a stop loss but i was wondering could someone make a ea with these rules but add a stop loss, so we could play with it and see if it has potential everything is explained in the pdf i found the pdf here https://c.mql5.com/forextsd/forum/16...ing_system.pdfIgnored
DislikedHere's the same test but with a TP of 13. You'll notice less of a drawn down and much more profit over time. I tested many TP settings but this seemed to be optimal. Hope this helps! {image}Ignored
DislikedNew version with expiry set way in the future. This version has had a few logic bugs ironed out and also contains a trend filter based on the attached TCCI indicator. It doesn't actually work that well, and my advice is NOT to use it. The reason for this is that the TCCI indicator repaints, so there will be discrepancies between the CGS indicator and the CGS EA. When I get time, I will amend the indicator so that it doesn't repaint and will then continue with testing. In the meantime, have fun, and let us know if you find any good settings. {file}...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Welcome. Does this mean you are finishing your work on your EA? I start testing today. I see that EA has not changed. the settings are the same. Can I somehow set the indicator condition manually? I mean that I could change it instead of "movin average" 20 enter a different value. A value of 20 often changes the signal. I look at 100 and it seems better. But each time interval needed to adjust the "MA" parameter.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hiya buddy, Yes, I will be getting back to it, but finding the time is becoming an issue as I've started a new job recently and don't have much downtime right now. Both the EA and the Indicator now have a trend filter period: this is the period to use for the TCCI indicator, and you can switch it off by using zero, or change the period to whatever you wish. The TCCI indicator defaults to a period of 20, which should be about right for the H1 timeframe. For lower timeframes, the period should be smaller - around 16 would probably be OK.Ignored
