hi Ron and Billy:

amazing trading, I must say! congrats!
example of tactics, strategy, performance, discipline, results

Billy has been kind to teach his trading method here for the last couple of days which looks to be based upon ADR and Range

And I must request Ron to share his trading strategy, which looks more of a SWING and specifically teach
- how to select a pair to trade
- when to enter and when to exit in case of DD
- when to be patient with his method
- how to profit or avoid from such extreme days of Yen selling, USD buying, etc

For what ever reason, the market makers move the price.
i have my trigger which is usually 00-00 4 hour bar. A Good HELP. and the 08-00 15 minute bar break, UK open.

We then have adr, excluding the 08-00 break,
we have the break knowing the adr is X, and we play to that,,,,, or play for part of it, its all statistics.
Like i always say, i am not a trader, i trade stats/numbers

I do not have my laptop now. but look at Cable.

It did reach the second line, 16+16 and then retraced down.
This happens.
I also said, I would not of traded it. and that is why, less risk. lol

I will try not to contradict myself.
Grids work and don't work.
Catch a trend and its good, have whip which is usual and you are ruined.
I know we have grid traders and i respect them all, maybe they have a quirk in the method.

I am not a grid trader as such when I am compounding/adding on.
I have my major break and I follow the big boys, and I work off the daily range to see what I have to play with.
So if I add on/counter it isn't off a set range, <<<<< sounds contradictive. lol

not looking for Automatic trading
EA should be semi-auto to open 1 - 4 trade within range with same SL and TP and repeating functions for xy times with tight SL
similar what Ron is doing

logic behind this is:
when price enter Jail box enter buy @ bottom with SL right below box and repeating this until MM make there mind for up or down; opposite for sell

so far I'm doing this manually with scripts but it is to slow need something faster and I'm not that good programmer in MQL will lose atleast 6-9 month developing this
if anyone is interesting developing this tool ... PM me

My apologies P, I said ea's are rubbish, I realise I meant indicators.

doing that with the jail break is very good.

I had a robot that would do that , but it is now defunct and no longer here.
Bot was very good but I was reluctant to use it because it made me lazy, lol.

I spoke to Phil and we both shared the same ideas.
No talk about millions of dollars/ gold etc.
Just the positive attitude and sticking to methods.

It doesn't matter if you make $10 or a million. it is how you get it.
He was a lovely flamboyant guy though, added colour to FF.

Thanks to you all again.

Just took my last small profits for EURCAD

Never been here before - just checked the trading history of my micro account over past 2 weeks - no losses.

Have a nice weekend (At the moment it's a bit stormy up here in the Cheviots)
