Does anyone have experience with IC Markets or FP Markets? I'm looking for my new broker after a few months break from trading (family reasons). Too many contradictions online, I need traders with real live experience with them.

I am in process of switching brokers and i think FP Markets does look like a worthy option considering their spreads and lower commissions. Their reviews are mostly positive, not easy to maintain for a brand that is around for almost 15 years.
Will get in more detail about them before i decide.

I did some research and inclining towards moving my account with FP Markets. Can't find any real concerns tbh. In fact, i think i will be getting better spreads with lower commissions
. I can see that they offer free VPS from day 1. Any idea which VPS provider they work with?

Hi Not to defend IC but to offer a reason.
There is a difference with our broker timeshift but.......with IC cTrader printed.

FX is a different game of course, open to broker interference, but I am inclined to think FPM dont operate that way.

Yes, no doubt there was a huge drop in price on the news.
But look very close at the chart posted, note the time along the bottom, and the vertical line that indicates a new day.
Data clearly stopped at 3 am as I mentioned.
Compare that to what I now have, again, study the time stamps along the bottom.
