Getting close to the 3288 target however I think it now has a new resistance around 3250/3275 but still has the potential to hit 3300 + a wee bit
Every time this market looks like it's turning we get some fresh buying and TA gets kick out the window

I think a close over 3266/71 now would see some renewed interest by the bulls, my sb charts show a gap at 3280 so a possible gap close in play, 3292 upside target and continued upside over this level imo, 3331 still stiff resistance but 3371/3437 are next upside targets

Yeah, that was a hypothetical comparison of the two most repeated patterns in S&P500 that turned out it wasn't the same.
This is why the safe approach is placing an order on the breaking point of the pattern (that didn't trigger)
The aggressive approach would be selling at the top when it tagged the previous top with a very tight stop loss
