When I look at the details of NFP this is what I see. Based on the report details there are 3 major areas of growth and this is my view on them:

1) Health care added 36,000 jobs in January, with gains in ambulatory health care services (+23,000) and hospitals (+10,000). Health care has added 361,000 jobs over the past 12 months.

2) Employment in leisure and hospitality continued to trend up in January (+36,000). Over the past 6 months, the industry has added 288,000 jobs.

3) Employment continued on an upward trend in professional and business services in January (+21,000), increasing by 390,000 over the past 12 months.

The rest of the numbers is not significant.. So if we focus just on these 3 my interpretation would be:
1) ----> USA nation is getting unhealthier each year..
2) ----> The amount of wealthy and lazy people is rising...
3) ----> Business is mostly based on services, meaning USA is not producing much like before..

Conclusion: A very nasty and "Trumpy" balloon keeps filling with air.. And on a side note, those numbers are possibly altered and manipulated to make the Trump administration shine.. But no matter how much you make tin shine tin is simply tin.. Oh and not to forget, ask yourself why corona virus came out in 2020.. why not last year, why now?

Yes thanks Ata for the detail explanation, but USDX I think will be dumped today, we could just wait the rise of EU and other currency related to USD. Maybe today is profit taking.

All sign point to a short. No follow through to upside, a down day for the euro so far and good US NFP data.

The reason unemployment went up is actually because so many jobs are being created that it's encouraged a record number of people to start applying for jobs. The participation rate climbed to 63.4% - the highest since 2013, and it is now in a solid pattern of rising for the first time since GFC.

Make no mistake, the data coming out of the US is out of this world, when we compare to the rest of the OECD.

Now that theoretically should mean continued USD strength, but I think much of this has already been priced in, and especially since Wednesday for these figures. We can see there are some interesting things going on on 1h eu, however since it's the end of the week, I think it's unlikely that much will happen now until the start of next week. It might make a small recovery (maybe), but I doubt we will see something like 1.1 today

At the moment, I am not even opening trades right now because there's no clear indication, and it's probably better to wait until next week.

lowest is around 1.0950, so it's about 100 pips to target. that's quite reachable for EU swing.
now price is already above ytd's low, today's LO & NYO. i think bull starting to take control.

Poignant! Not one argument. It is a crock of crap and false. The homeless situation in most US cities is atrociois. People are living in squalor. The numbers are pulled from thin air. #ughhh

Let's give EU some air.. Charts speak for themselves. Already bought a few lots. Let's see what next week will bring us.

Edit: My charts have magic on them, hahahah. Price immediately went up. 100 EMA on M15 is usually a tough nut to crack.. Once price breaches it, we can look up.
