Lem - been studying up on that lightening kumo u seem to do so well at scalping. I think i copied the settings right from some of ur early posts in this thread. No idea if i understand how u use it properly, but i hammered away with it on gold this morning! took a long off the double bottom, and then once the lightening went through the thunder (feel a bit stupid saying that - lol), i hammered away longs at every pull back with the momo - 90 pips, Happy days!

What I can add for your knowledge bank, is that the original Japanese Thunder + Lightning used the higher timeframes and you can see how that would give the two clouds more time to order themselves in relation to price, whereas down on the 1-min, you will lose opportunities in more ranging markets.

Also, the original method used Heiken-Ashi candles. So again, you can see how that is more based around the higher timeframes.

You see, Thunder+Lightning was originally developed to be a starting method for new fund traders in Japan, as it has a logical and repeatable, steady progression.

I now use the original full method to give me part of my bias information, using H1 and 5-min.

When I actually scalp, I only use the fast, Lightning Cloud.

I also have another variant, Black Sails, that I use in The Other Galaxy, which works on all timeframes and uses a double MACD addition.

Oh and another helpful addition to the thing is the dynamic fib, tracking every pullback into the next. Drop some over and you will see how often it helps and also warns over the course of a block of entries.

Not 'Lightening' but dax was okay again this morning,

Edit: Error -the 'X' should be further to the right at 8:52 - ish green arrow breaking line failed to follow thro with subsequent bars.

Spain sounds much better.... Too me.... My view is probably clouded as I married to my Spanish vacation love haha.... But a gnome who's preparing a nice sangria in the garden sounds absolutely perfect hahaha

Used to climb in El Chorro in Spain every Easter, beautiful place. Overall, I do prefer Mallorca though.

France was also a great place to climb, all over the place.

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole as far as a place to live now.
