Dislikedeurchf short - pretty much the same as usual : HD on H4, pullback to the 61.8fib, ema's nicely aligned for short, stochastic overbought, waiting for the PA on H1 to go short {image}Ignored
DislikedChamne, Would you please give us your update about GBP/JPY HD developed on monthly TF?Ignored
Disliked{quote} HD pattern still valid on the Monthly and waiting for bearish entry signals on the Weekly. Price seems to be consolidating right now, so a strong price action crossed the support line is required. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} You mean that price should cross support levels and MACD need to cross zero level as well? Then to spot the entry point which TF we need to shift? D1 and then H1(or H2) or follow the rule of TF 10 to 12 times lower?or D1 and then H4 and then m30? or we can say depends on how price behaves on lower time frames in terms of crossing supports levels and MACD zero level?Ignored
Disliked{quote} drsa1970, When I spot a HD pattern on a timeframe (e.g. Monthly), I switch to the next lower TF (e.g. Weekly for entry signals). I can consider the cross of a trendline, but I prefer to wait for MACD to cross the zero line. When it happens, I can enter the trade (e.g. bearish), but on a Weekly chart and even on a Daily chart, the risk is often too high (more than 2% of the capital). So I consider the entry signal on the Weekly as the start of a Trading Zone and switch to a 4 - 16 HR chart. Every cross of MACD will be a bearish entry signal...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hey Chamane, i see you are using some new indicators? Which ones if i may ask?Ignored
Disliked{quote} TheJube, Those are tools that help indicating the trend on higher timeframes. I use BBands with settings: (Length=100, Deviation=1) and 4 time frame MACD nmc with the same settings of the MACD on the chart. Also the option ''Trendonzerocross = True''. I use also the middle line of the Donchian indicator for that purpose, but they all give me about the same information. {file} {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks! And i see you got rid of the Stochastic indicator? And you changed the MACD settings i see, is that correct?Ignored
