GBP/USD H4/M15 Observations

Strong Zone of Buying below the 00.00 4.00 Bar waiting for Price to show its hand.

I might not be around to Trade it though....

Morning all.....
usd/chf 00-00 4 hour break, High Broke and I am Long.

My colleague here is shorting Dax moff break of 00-00 low. nice gap
ftse low broke but I have left it. nice gap.

Trade well all.

You know the saying , horses for courses.
same with the 00-00 4 hour bar break..
initially I was only trading it when I had a Fail other time frame, and we are still testing it.
It is good old ancient trade method , nothing wrong with what you do ie trade the retrace off a specific point, I always suggest this as a retrace trade is good plus you lose less if it fails.

Missed a decent Long on The DAX at 07.30...too early for a Monday morning, lol.

EDIT: Jumped into a short move off the Open.

In Long on Cable and had to step away, so set my tp/sl blah blah blah...like a good boy.

Came back and price had gone exactly where I thought it would...woo-hoo! Except, not so much. TP had mysteriously not triggered. Funny that...

Still had +6.5 in the bag and took that but should have been more than three times that. Another reason why I usually never leave a trade to do its own thing.

GU +6.5

The Not-The-Billy-Bar has broken both ends and not hit target on either. WZ on the way back through would have cleared you good, obviously. Not traded by me.

The Billy-Bar has a 23 pip range...big. As it stands, the break short has reversed. WZ would have hit TP. Played straight, not so much. Again, not traded by me.

I would have been only interested in the Long move this morning - and that's what I got in on as shown above.

Cable, long story as to what we are doing.
The 08-00 low failed but we countered at - 12. and we are playing the game, OR my colleague is.
just hitting it with counters and trades.....

Gold - took the break of the 8am low for 10, and then took the break of the 8am high for 10 more. Nice and clean

Not in GU yet, as was busy on gold

00-00 4 hr break GU (plus a inside bar break on the 5:00 1 hr bar) out for a hefty sum at the pivot. +25

Retrace trades are good if you just happen to show a chart and see that it has happened. and you have an entry.
To actually rely on a retrace trade can prove troublesome as they don't always happen.

Hi Guys hope some of you caught the short on Cable, my thought was well its looking a wee bit obvious but If they push it back to that Supply and Dump from Friday afternoon, and the 200m/a 50fib I,m going in all guns Yeeeeehaaa, L.O.L. took 36 ,, thats a whole weeks load, love it when the plan comes together, (don't get me wrong I was like a coiled snake ready to strike if it went against me). Need a walk round the garden get back to reality, Green to you all guys. Pip.

thank you for your kind words, today I actually traded like an idiot which is very rare..i had 2 massive lots on that 08-00 15 minute break and when it failed I and my colleague decided to fix it like a small trade lol. I aged rapidly. anyway all now sorted.
we hit usd/chf hard as well.
