Hi all,

I have searched and tested all the recent stochastic oscillator custom indicator with alert. But it didn't meet my criteria.

I'm looking for stochastic oscillator indicator that keep alert me when a candle reach and stay at overbought level 80 or oversold level 20 until the candle close.

All the setting of the stochastic is default like the (5,3,3) and the line color. But I request that I can customize the overbought and oversold level. And also the sentence in popup alert window is "Level 80 Overbought, Symbol(), Timeframe()" or "Level 20 Oversould, Symbol(), Timeframe()"

If someone confuse with my criteria. I attach RSI custom indicator with alert and the alert is which I want.

Try this I converted the RSI-Alert indicator to Stochastic and altered the Alert message.

I have found a little problem with the alert pop up window. The alert pop up window automatically disappear when I minimize the window of mt4, so I can see my previous alert, and when it alert again it will appear again and then I hit the minimize button it got disappear again.

Could you fix it, please ? Make it stay appear when I minimize the window of mt4.

Solved.

Tested in other mt4 terminal, and work properly. The alert pop up window doesn't disappear.

That's what happens if you minimize the MT4 platform window on MT4 build 509 however if you open it back up the Alert popup window should still be there, other than that I cannot help you.

I also solved in the first mt4 that make the alert pop up window disappear. It doesn't disappear now.

I check the different in option menu, found that the "allow dll import" box doesn't check, after check it and uncheck the sub menu "confrim dll function calls" and restart my mt4. It works and doesn't disappear again.

just in case somebody wants the rsi/stoch indicators with more alerts (sound,mail,pushnotification), see attached ...

edit :

Already test it.
1. Nice alert option.
2. Nice type alert sound for short or long condition.
3. Minus : It only alert once, could you make it keep alert until the candle close.

hm, I will not do it (keep eg the sound playing will drive you mad, believe me) ...

Dear Forum,

i'm a totally newbe, and i inserted the indicator (stochastic Oscillator Alert).

But no alert window and no email comes. Have i forgot something? An other indicator works well with alert and mail, but this 2 not.

Hello All,
I am new to forex trading, but eager to learn!
I am looking for an alert where I can get emails when my stochastic oscillator crosses down and out of a level (80) and also alerts me when it crosses up and out of another level (20).
Is that possible?
The settings I am looking for are as followed:
%K period: 11
%D period: 4
Slowing: 4
Price field: low/high
Method: Simple
Levels 20 and 80.

I would greatly appreciate any help that this forum might be able to provide!

Hello everybody, I was wondering if someone could help me out and special code the stochastic indicator for me? I just need it to give sound, pop-up and email alerts when the Main line crosses the signal line. It doesnt have to be only when the lines cross in the oversold/overbought zones, I just want an alert anytime they cross...I have the K period set to 14, the D period set to 3 and Slowing set to 3 and the MA Method is set to simple. All the indicators I find only alert when its in oversold/overbought. If someone could help me out it would be so greatly appreciated, Thanks

I just test the alert, but it only have 1 line, where is wrong ? i need 2 line sto

Can anyone design a stochastic indicator that pop alert and show arrow at any cross level. This stochastic is good for following trend when combined with MA. This stochastic pop alert at any cross level, I don't want the one of 80 and 20, not overbought or oversold only. But pop alert also at either 10, 30,40, 50, 60...any level....
Any one or programmer please...

I did the same setteings and it work for me , so it could be something else . You could try with the prior version wich work well with sounds too
