20 pips per day, is there anyone can help me?

Is it working till now? I don’t think so…..; it’s an inactive thread I see.

I learned a lot from this thread. Now, I will not set too high of an expectation on my trading.

I agree. A few times a week on a good week? Maybe. Every single day, without exceptions? It does not sound very plausible to me.

Havo is right 20 pips a day are a cake walk There are tons of good strategies in FF. Please read this post and if you cannot make 20 pips a day using this very easy strategy you should quit trading. Please let us know if you achieved the 20 pips after testing it.

how many pips you can make per day it completely depends on your money management. so develop you MM and earn good amount of money.

No, this is wrong, money management its not connected on how many pips you can get !! only how much profit/loss you get after a trade.. Reading the chart, the price in itself and what its doing and telling you to decide the best moment and direction to trade its what determine how many pips you can potentially get

They are both equally important to trade successfully, if one its missing you wont make it but they are skills completely disconnected on each other !!!

To each their own. I generally try for 10 - 15 pips per day but there are days when I just don't see a proper entry and I prefer to wait them out.

I agree with you that it's best to wait for a proper entry but the question is what is a proper entry? Here is a chart from the strategy I posted as you can see all you need is two blocks to make 20 pips

You can also use the V1 indicator to get better entries on Renko charts. Here is an example trading the Dow Jones 30 CFD using Renko 20 bricks.

You can use the market context. Do a Google search to get an idea of the market context. If you trade with this context at the support/resistance level, you can easily make a profit of 20 pips per day.

You are right and you are wrong depending on the timeframe you are trading. Your percentage of a 20 pips movement might be right for trading on a weekly or a monthly chart but is wrong if trading on lower timeframes. For example the 10-day average ATR for EURUSD was 71 at the close of Friday's trading session and 65 for Friday. A 20 pips move on EURUSD Friday was equivalent to 30.8% of the market movement for that day. Trading a larger ATR pairs such as the GBPNZD, the 10-day average ATR for GBPNZD was 154 at the close of Friday's trading session and 172 for Friday. A 20 pips move on GBPNZD Friday was equivalent to 11.6% of the market movement for that day. If you go to extremes like the Dow Jones 30 CFD with a 10-day average ATR of 540 and 577 for Friday a 20 pips move was equivalent to 3.5% of the market movement for that day. As seen on my chart below each brick is 20 pips and it's easy to make a multiple of them in one trade so 20 pips a day is a cake walk

The computations above are based on one trade of 20 pips per day and I agree with you this may not always be possible. On the other hand it's no joke and with a good strategy, and there are a lot of them in FF, it can easily be achieved by having a few trades that add up to 20 pips per day. Post #37,734 shows a trader that made almost 1160 pips this month trading small lots. 20 pips a day would have generated about 400 pips for the month not 1160. Post 37,750 shows what can be achieved with a bigger account. With 4,620.6 net pips for 248 trades this is a profit of 18.6 pips per trade. Again 20 pips a day would only have generated about 400 pips for the month not 4,620.6.

I hope you are now convinced that a profit of 20 pips per day is not impossible but, to the contrary, quite easy to achieve using a good strategy.
