unfortunately last year's NIKKEY top doesn't have any technical significance... those stops do not look reliable enough under the circumstance... 2018's top has a huge importance and can work as an indicator for the US stocks indices as well...

of course not... I never trade on predictions... even on my own ones... there always must be some technical signal to enter a position... in this case I'm quite sure that the market will come to at least 18K... but it will take some time and obviously I would like to take the best possible selling level with definitive stops before walking the market down to its obvious destination...

No. My stops are placed above 2018 high. I entered close to last years(2019) high established in December. We are already in 2020...

I even posted several charts in this very thread with my projections... according to the technical picture it might take about a year just to get a diamond confirmation... I don't expect any instant disaster... obviously that's a wrong impression you've got...

I don't worry much about the Dow hitting 18K, which is a must and might be considered as a relatively healthy correction... but I'm scared to death myself about the possibility to see it below 6K after that... though technically it's a distinct possibility also... highly probable as a matter of fact... especially given current technical picture...

that makes sense... initial target is likely to be located at right ahead of 20200, which is a measured "phantom" level...

I would reverse this short position ahead of 20200 to target 23000 once again... and only there I would reverse it again in order to sit on that last short for at least 8K target...

I wish you could take your position closer to the stops... it might try upside again tomorrow and next week... though quite unlikely to take your stops out...

Hmm no way of telling whether it will be huge or not yet. Currently the S&P is only 1.16% down

Could drop further. I would have expected a more rapid and bigger decline for a significant correction. There were so many backlashes over the events of last year that banks/MM have put a lot of effort into ensuring the same doesn’t happen again.
