XE is not showing real numbers during the weekend or holidays, its just an old myth. They are close to real numbers 1 HOUR before market opens, everything else is just random, they could show EU at 1.60 right now and it wouldn't mean anything.

What the hell is happening? I am looking at fxstreet and the eurusd is at this moment at 1,1220, coming from a low of 1,1073. And new highs are showing up...

But then I go into my two electronic platforms and they say that the market is closed... One of them is Saxobank's

Can anybody explain this to me?

Today is like sunday...lets wait 3 more hours until market opens. Realistic pre-market numbers will be here 1 hour before market opens. But it would be great if EU opened above 1.12, quick short scalp and easy money into London.

Algos don't have to rest and can happily run when no one is looking. I do wonder though where the quotes of fxstreet and XE come from? I do agree that XE can at times show some numbers that don't pan out at the market open. This is pretty far even for them. It often looks like an unattainable spike that you wish you could have shorted but you are not allowed to trade so...

I hope this is true since I am still long Eur/Usd. Hehehe. I won't cross my fingers though. Or hold my breath.

No other correlated currency moved, so I think its fake...but I hope its true and I can open a short above 1250.

Oh, no... No fake... All correlated pairs show different rates.

For instance: eurgbp = 0,8725

And the same for any other rates... Go into the web and wait for a few seconds... Then rates will start to move...

EG is automated...if EU really moved to 1.13, GU would move up, too and Usdchf would move down, a lot. Also Aud and nzd would be higher...none of that is happening.

Just look at it one hour before market open or after...it may be below 1100 again.

And we are back below 1100...all these pre-market websites are pure crap more than 1 hour before market opens. Its just random numbers they are showing.

Here is my technical analysis on EURUSD, I am a fan of KISS (Keep It Stupidly Simple). EURUSD Started selling as far back as February 2018, and yet to give any significant PUSH for a buy, all we have being seeing is a retracement, then bigger fall.

I have my kill zone there on my chart, where I will wait to see price action reaction, which will validate my bias for a continuation of sell. If I don't see what I want, then I move on to another pair........... a lot of fishes in the ocean
