it is the % of "retail trader" data. to understand it you must know who is "the real" price mover, and how they collect cash from retail trader, of course. i still learn about it, hope Apiga will tell more.

Read more on it on first post as it was to be interpreted in opposite ie trading against the cloud..
OP did you know that for SSI data provided by FXBLUE, they allocate a status to each trader's account of either 'net long' or 'net short' then tally those numbers up to get an SSI reading?
I'm not sure how many other brokers that provide SSI do that, but personally I'd rather an SSI indicator that takes into account the volume of each trader's account rather than whether they are just net long or short.
