Got the EU in a bad place for my short, any input?, news could change it all but looks like it's poised up, indicators showing it has not completed a cycle from being up, needs to drop before it goes up, (only my opinion), suppose I'm going to find out,50/50 D

Agree Li, trouble is, what they want you to see and what they do are poles apart, may close one and leave other, loss not eating anything away, only small lot, enough to "ouch" if it gaps 500 pips, D

Will close WTI shorts and Dow short for the hourly break, still have the Dow down but it may rise from here, will evaluate to enter higher, EUR/USD shorts still open, good chess all and speak later, D

Someone made a good point about the US-China trade negotiations earlier today... If we get a deal, there's a good chance it'll be announced during US market hours. If we're not going to get a deal, the announcement will probably come after the markets all close on Friday. Going into the weekend short risk might be a smart play.

Very good point. Trump has a history of waiting until after the weekly close to deliver bad news. We've got two days left. Isn't there also the possibility that a deal could be reached over the weekend?

Ef, great point and post, all too uncanny releasing news that has such an impact out of hours, trading aside, we can see how one person can change the dynamics with a sentence, while we have speakers who move markets, there is a time and place and all are given plenty of notice of the event, someone who can effect many in such a way should take more responsibility, that said, not a bad speculation of being short in the close, for me though, holding over the weekend unnerves me, D

EU has bounced off the 200 ma on the 15min, got 1.11136 to hold then a possible further fall to 1.10870, break above here could negate the short for the time being and time to close, D
