Would be nice if you would give the source of EA as mq4 too. Sometimes making things like this open source can be fruitful and people can look into source and add or fix some issues and features and some people like me can learn from it.

ps. Also, would be nice if someone has a good setting for 15 minute charts sharing it.
pss. one feature that would be nice to have is limiting the bot to take new positions based on free margin, user can set if the free margin is below certain amount or a percentage of balance... no new positions until the previous ones are closed.

Yes, wouldn't it be nice if someone spoon fed us all with everything we wanted so that we don't actually have to do any of the work?

If you want the source, go back to the previous version on this thread - that contains everything you need for this strategy.

Yes, but you can't trade 20% risk with many pairs. maybe 1-2%

I know but still the draw down is big, I've loaded it with 5mil monopoly money, wan't to see how it will go

How have you managed to get so many open trades? The parameters you've shown say a max of 4 trades, with a max of 2 on any one pair...

I don't know, you tell me. I'm using the default settings. The only thing I have changed is the magic number for each pair.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

Well anyway, I think this way we saw how good or bad is the setup. I got more or less all the alerts, no ignoring any signals.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

Does the Magic number change the Way it trades ? If so what Will happen when Not changing Magic number with multi pairs..

Yes, there are two Max Trade parameters; one restricts how many trades can be open on the current pair, the other restricts how many trades can be open across all pairs, but for this to work, all pairs must use the same magic number.

Yeah, my account blew up this afternoon - combination of trading during the UK election and all of the USD news today for the most part, but I've also spotted a possible link between some trades which lost, namely entering a reversal trade in a strong trend, with the trend overpowering the trade.

I've amended the indicator to take this into account, and none of the losing trades would have been taken, had it been included at the time.

I've also added a spread filter as requested by others, and also incorporated a gap filter to avoid entering trades where the trigger candle gapped from the previous one.

So Paul, defining a trend and taking this trade setup in the trend direction?

What criteria did you use to define a trend?

I noticed that if 3 out of the previous 4 candles were in the opposite direction (i.e. trending), then the trend is likely to be too strong for a reversal to occur.

So, the code (you can see it in the indicator) checks the 4 candles prior to the trigger candle, and if 3 or more are all in the same direction, it ignores the signal.
