Consider punching your pairs (and directions in which you will trade them +/-) into this indicator to time your entries better. And yes, your coder can very easily work this indicator into your EA by simply timing the entry with the next change of candle colour of the built in HAS function, in the TF of your choice.

You are on point my brother. When people fail to heed this simple warning on AUD Red News!, They do so to their own detriment. It is not even a subject for argument. Its a wise decision to factor it in our trade. Where such AUD Red news applies, simply trade available pairs without the AUD and NZD. Then watch the deviation of the the news figure from expected figure in order to ascertain the direction of the market in order to add them to the basket

I'm actually running this Monday to Friday. And checking at Friday close what the overall profit is

I've already hit TP today. I'm simply checking weekly to see if I'm up overall,bigger and better picture will obviously be monthly results and an overall year profit. I've literally just set it it and forgot it with 1.3. all working as it should. Thank you

I think the EA gives different pairs compare to the indicator you gave.Can i use the EA to see the pairs and trade manually?Is that possible?

My TP hit. But only had 7 pairs on my IC Market Demo, could of been a broker / demo difference.

The indicator and EA use the exact same code so there is no difference with the pairs between them.

It is not possible to use the EA to trade manually, it is an EA not an indicator.

I set up the EA to check the H1, H4, D1, W1 candles and I'm going to start it at the H4 candle after London Opens. On my broker the H4 candle ends 2 hours after London Opens. If I start the EA at the beginning of that H4 candle I will have 2 H1 candles that have formed after the London Opens. This should give me enough candles for a decent signal. The only issue that I'm having right now is toooo many signals. Too bad there isn't a way to detect trend strength and then have an input for "max trades" and have them in order according to their Trend Strength. I will continue to tinker and see if I can find another winning preset.

+10% TP hit!

This week I increased the TP from 5% to 10% as I have started using the trailing stop. The trailing stop will start once the basket reaches +5% and trail by 1%.

This week was great and with only 6 pairs.

So when you set the trailstop to start at 3% with a 1% trailstop.......does that mean that the SL will be moved to BE at 3% and then trail with a 1% trail at that point?

the new version works great without error. but as a request, is it possible to add recovery system to EA for when it has been removed/re-attached from/to chart, it detects opened orders by itself and manages them ?

Hi tuxTrader, if the EA get removed for whatever reason and reattached the EA will pick up the orders and continue managing them if you use the same magic number.

im trying to set up the tp/sl/trailling using the points feature. can you plase clarify if the points metric being used is something like 10x pip value?

Hi blamshakk, points works pretty much the same as pips but in a smaller denomination, for example; 1 pip = 10 points, 10 pips = 100 points, etc.

Hy and sorry for question...could be possibile and useful for future think to add a kind of portion balance or equities for Ea money management?
I mean for ex I've 100.000$ but I want use Ea just considering 1.000$ as balance and use lot size and tp and al related to that 1.000 portion...
Stupid idea?
