DislikedVolume it's a very interesting concept that I always try to gauge on. It didn't work out well for me though as there were few reliable sources + it's hard to back test on volume. The concept and understand is nice, but it all boils down to one question, Can a trader trade profitably using Forex volume? I'm still searching for verified volume traders to date. None seen so far with a verified track record of more than 6 or 12 months.Ignored
Disliked{quote} It comes down to the trader and their ability to be adaptive. I trade a couple days a week with a steady 1-2% per trading day. Very few drawdown days as I stay dynamic but trading days are numbered because of the business management side primarily managing liquidity and relationships. It's not a fail proof method but it does give you all the large moves as they start on the lower time frames.Ignored
DislikedI think thread starter suspended his idea, because of too high prices for it. He would have to pay around 20k dollars a year, to get around 75% of real forex volume, on a hourly chart. And he didn't found enough participants, to split the costs to make the price a lot cheaper...Ignored

Disliked{quote} LOL what a bunch of BS. Prove it ! I have read in the past maybe in this book "The Microstructure Approach to Exchange Rates" ( i m not sure) and in a recent studie with the top 10 banks where ticks volume and money volume were correlated at 98 % and 95% , why on earth the missing 5% will give you the super-powerfull tool as you claim to dominate the market ? Just a gimmick to sell a useless gadget. It's not worth it. Institutional or serious traders can all laugh about it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Let's talk seriously please and don't insult skilled analysts in data processing. It's clear one tick alone says nothing but with billions ... open your eyes, this is an example : real money volume vs ticks volume (eurusd M1) {image} Most people (pigeons) you try to attract use mostly MT4 platform (not the best for microstructure analysis) but with a true ECN , model agency or even an institutional broker (mine can handle their MT4 data feed very well) a good coder can set up a project in a acceptable level by ABSTRACT the real volume when ticks volume are strongly correlated (see the graph) without paying a stupid fee. What you give is a placebo since you are not an high frequency trader or involved in arbitrage.Ignored
