I haven't gotten rid of my short yet. I recalibrated it when the spike went to .1100.

I will become a buyer around .1020 and .1000.

If this flips around and makes new highs I will rethink my buying strategy.

Looking good so far.

I added at 1.1099 a couple of lots as it was at fib levels I like to play. I am not adding anymore this week, will continue adding next week on the way down to 1.0990 area and then look to cover.

Depending on my holiday schedule and the price action, this may be my last swing trade for the year? I usually begin to close up shop the week before Christmas and don't return until New Year.

Seems to me today's downward movement is very close to being over. Oh, how I want to take my profit and wait until tomorrow... Perhaps I will.

Yeah, I am out for the day. Took 30 pips on the trade. Not bad.

For my followers: After this post and with NFP data still no H1 candle could achieve a close above 1.11077 and in contrary one candle had already closed back below Dashed-BLUE line confirming that bears kicked in..

From here all we have to do is to rinse and repeat selling touches to new Dashed-BLUE trendlines.. So we better stay short and meanwhile wait for some upswings to enter short again on Monday.. This week and day is done for me.. Calling it a day folks.. Enjoy your weekends..

Hi Guys,

The way the cookie crumbles. I did not post my sell trade here today for obvious reasons. A friday and just before NFP. It could have gone either way and a risk I was willing to take, because of positive trades behind me. I have also opened a buy trade just above 1.10500 with a 20 pip s/loss. Kinda messy but will have to see how this plays out. From my observations and wave following strategy EU could go into a swing reversal to the downside. I will have to see how this unfolds next week. It is touch and go.

1st daily close > 1.1080 area yest; all dollar news coming weakish. looking to go long EU logically good entry point should be 1.107x area if uptrend is to continue (till 1.118x area at least).
good i waited for daily close before thinking abt entering long on EU. as always weekly close most imp -- could not stand up to 1.1072 imp weekly number still, so it still remains a short. at the same time the mult pin bars around 1.098x is worth noticing. also EU IR decision next week. net net the uncertainty and imp event next week will make me stand aside from this pair at the moment.
